Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearElmira, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 9.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 186 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It remains a comfortable, exceptionally practical minivan that is enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space. For families who want an easy-to-live-with daily hauler, that combination still matters.

The trade-offs are clear: the hybrid powertrain is unavailable, and the technology is described as only meeting minimum standards and expectations. It is also falling behind rivals on value, so the appeal is strongest if you prioritise the Odyssey’s traditional strengths over the latest features.

Only 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly bargain-heavy.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, long-running family minivan with a front-wheel-drive V6 layout and a reputation for being easy to live with day to day.

Its 3.5-litre V6 and 10-speed automatic are described as tried-and-true, and the ride and handling are tuned to feel natural, responsive, and compliant. The expert assessment also says the Odyssey remains comfortable and reasonably quiet on the highway.

Honda’s safety and driver-assistance systems are said to operate smoothly and unobtrusively, which supports confidence in everyday use. The model also gets a light technology update for 2025, but the infotainment remains substandard.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this generation’s age and limited updates make it less compelling than newer rivals, so condition and maintenance history matter more than ever.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: In Canada, the 2025 Odyssey comes in Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition trim levels. The base Sport is slightly defeatured, while the Touring and Black Edition add front and rear parking sensors. The cabin uses buttons, knobs, and physical switchgear, which makes the controls easy to use.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. There is no AWD or hybrid powertrain.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The 2025 model adds a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a faster processor, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and USB-C charging ports. Wireless smartphone charging is offered on the top three grades.
• Fuel efficiency: According to Natural Resources Canada, the 2025 Odyssey should get 10.6 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it benefits from the Odyssey’s core strengths: comfortable seating, plenty of cargo space, and the standard Honda Sensing safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point in the range.
• Sport-L: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete family setup without jumping to the top end. It keeps the Odyssey’s practical character while moving you further up the range in equipment.
• Touring: This trim adds front and rear parking sensors and brings more of the higher-end convenience and tech content. It suits you if you want a better-equipped long-distance family hauler.
• Black Edition: This is the most expensive trim and is for you if you want the fullest feature set in the lineup, including the parking sensors and the most upscale presentation.

The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 186 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,585 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $50,661 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,122 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Odyssey has softened enough to improve your buying position today, but it also means future sellers may face more pressure if the model continues to age without major updates. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better protected against further depreciation than someone who pays closer to the top of the range.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Odyssey earns a “Poor” rating in a new IIHS evaluation, performing worse than all of its rivals.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

The safety systems generally operate smoothly and unobtrusively, but the expert notes that lane-departure warnings use a subtle steering wheel wobble rather than a stronger vibration. Adaptive cruise control can also brake too hard in heavier traffic and react a bit slowly when traffic clears.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.
• It gets a few updates that should matter to Odyssey loyalists, including a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, modernised USB-C charging ports, an available smartphone charging pad, and a new rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the Odyssey’s familiar formula, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be the better path, especially if you can find a cleaner example with the equipment you want.
