How much does the 2025 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 19.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 97 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for a used full-size SUV.

Is the 2025 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 2025 GMC Yukon earns a 5/5 user rating, and its appeal centres on full-size SUV practicality, premium-feeling materials, modern technology, and seating for up to nine passengers depending on configuration. It also stands out for offering V8 power and a turbodiesel option in a segment where many rivals have moved to turbocharged V6 engines, which may matter if you want a more traditional powertrain choice. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a spacious, upscale family haulier with serious utility and a distinctive presence. 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that reliability has not been especially strong so far in this generation, so you should approach a used purchase with a careful inspection and a close look at service history. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth weighing against the Yukon’s space, capability, and premium features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 97 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $94,739 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $94,739 CAD sits slightly below last year's $118,197 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Yukon has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises from here. If you buy at the right price, you may have less downside left than a shopper who paid closer to the prior-year average. The Yukon’s premium positioning and broad appeal should help support demand, but resale will still depend on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this full-size SUV with its updated interior, larger infotainment screen, and broad capability, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth considering, especially if you can find similar space and equipment at a lower asking price.
