How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport cost?

There are 830 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport a good car?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport earns a 7.83/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

It is designed primarily for drivers who want a small SUV with more adventurous intent than most rivals, while still working as a practical all-around crossover. The Bronco Sport’s strengths include great handling, standard all-wheel drive, and a stylish design, but it also brings a clear off-road identity rather than trying to be the softest or most luxurious compact SUV.

Excessive touchscreen controls and mediocre fuel economy are the main trade-offs to keep in mind. Even so, the 2025 updates add useful tech, styling, and interior improvements that make it easier to live with every day.

Only 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport reliable?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is presented as a well-rounded compact crossover with a strong focus on capability, and its standard all-wheel drive and rugged hardware support that image. Ford’s expert assessment also highlights that it remains composed, comfortable, and quiet on long highway drives, which matters if you plan to use it as a daily driver as well as a weekend adventure vehicle.

Its powertrain and drivetrain setup are straightforward: most versions use a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, while Badlands models get a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, and both pair with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. That kind of conventional mechanical layout can be reassuring for used buyers who want a vehicle with a clear purpose and a well-defined feature set.

Ford’s warranty coverage — a three-year/60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year/100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty — is competitive with other brands offering small, rugged crossovers.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Bronco Sport’s off-road focus and touchscreen-heavy cabin may not suit everyone’s expectations over time, especially if you want the lowest running costs and simplest controls.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Black Diamond Package on the Big Bend and the Sasquatch Package on the Outer Banks and Badlands add modular steel front and rear bumpers, accessory mounting points, cast D-rings, a removable nudge bar, and underbody protection. Those packages are the biggest differentiators if you want the most rugged look and hardware.
• Powertrain: Most trim levels use a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque, while Badlands models use a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, and the system uses a dual-clutch rear-drive unit for torque vectoring.
• Safety package: Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centring, and automatic high beams. Reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.2-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the current-generation Ford Sync 4 system. The larger screen and digital cluster are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The 1.5-litre turbo-three is rated at 8.7 litres per 100 kilometres combined, while the 2.0-litre turbo-four is rated at 10.1 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is offered in 4 trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the Bronco Sport’s core formula at the lowest price. It gets the standard 1.5-litre turbo engine, standard AWD, and the new 13.2-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital cluster, while the Black Diamond Package can add more off-road hardware if you want to build it up.
• Heritage: Choose this if you want the Bronco Sport’s rugged personality with a more distinctive design focus. It is the style-led option in the lineup, so it suits you if appearance matters as much as capability.
• Outer Banks: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel and the ability to add the Sasquatch Package. It is a strong middle ground for buyers who want comfort and tech without jumping straight to the most off-road-focused model.
• Badlands: Pick this if you want the most capability from the factory. It gets the 2.0-litre turbo-four, and with the Sasquatch Package it adds Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, an upgraded cooling fan, and an auxiliary oil cooler.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 830 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.38% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,636 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $33,636 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,711 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Bronco Sport has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help if you are shopping now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the current average or below, you are starting from a more favourable entry point than last year’s market.

For resale, the key question is whether the Bronco Sport’s off-road appeal and standard AWD continue to support demand in your local market. Well-equipped examples with desirable packages should hold more interest than plain versions, especially if they are priced competitively.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five-star frontal and side crash-test ratings and a four-star rollover crash-test rating. The IIHS gives it a “Good” score in the small overlap front test, a “Marginal” score in the updated moderate overlap front test, and an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centring, and automatic high beams. Reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.

The main caveat is the IIHS moderate overlap result, which is weaker than the Bronco Sport’s otherwise strong crash-test showing.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.38% compared with last year.
• Ford’s 2025 updates add new off-road packages, a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and interior improvements.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Bronco Sport with the strongest mix of tech, styling, and off-road hardware, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s updated cabin and expanded capability packages give it a clearer edge for buyers who plan to keep the vehicle for both daily driving and weekend use.
