How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport cost?

There are 867 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport a good car?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport earns an expert rating of 7.8/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport stands out as a compact crossover that blends the Ford Escape platform with the styling and off-road focus of its namesake. It is designed primarily for drivers who want a small SUV with more adventurous intent than most rivals, but it still works as a practical all-around crossover rather than just a niche off-road machine.

Cons: Excessive touchscreen controls and mediocre fuel economy are the main trade-offs to keep in mind.

With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market choice if you want to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport reliable?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is presented as a rugged small SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a focus on off-road capability, which supports its appeal for buyers who want something more adventurous than a typical compact crossover. Its expert evaluation also points to a well-rounded package that still works for daily driving.

The Bronco Sport’s powertrain and drivetrain setup are built around durability-minded use, with an eight-speed automatic, standard AWD, and a torque-vectoring rear-drive unit that helps send power where it is needed. Ford’s warranty coverage is competitive for the segment, which adds some reassurance for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a used example may have been driven hard off-road, so you should pay close attention to wear, maintenance history, and underbody condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco Sport’s trim-specific equipment matters because the base setup does not include every off-road or convenience feature. Higher trims and packages add modular steel bumpers, accessory mounting points, underbody protection, tie-down points, and other hardware that better suits the vehicle’s adventurous intent.
• Powertrain: Most versions use a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, while Badlands models get a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder. All-wheel drive is standard, and the 2.0-litre models add manual-shifting capability.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centring, and automatic high beams. Reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.2-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Sync 4. The touchscreen-heavy layout is worth testing to see whether it suits you.
• Fuel efficiency: The 1.5-litre engine is rated at 8.7 L/100 km combined, while the 2.0-litre turbo-four is rated at 10.1 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is offered in 4 trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the entry point and the best place to start if you want the Bronco Sport’s core character at the lowest price. It also serves as the base for the Black Diamond off-road package, which adds meaningful hardware if you want more trail capability without moving up a trim.
• Heritage: This trim is the style-focused choice, returning for 2025 with a distinct design emphasis. It makes sense if you want the Bronco Sport’s look and identity first, with the rest of the package staying relatively straightforward.
• Outer Banks: This is the better-value upgrade if you want a more polished Bronco Sport with access to the Sasquatch Package. It suits you if you want a stronger mix of everyday comfort and off-road hardware.
• Badlands: This is the most capable choice, with the 2.0-litre engine, additional off-road hardware, and the most serious trail-focused setup. It is the right pick if you want the Bronco Sport’s maximum capability and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package note to remember is that reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 867 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,032 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $33,032 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,755 CAD.

That price movement suggests the used market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it easier to find a well-equipped example without paying peak pricing. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect softer resale conditions than last year’s market. If you buy carefully and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may help protect value better than the average listing.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport earns five-star frontal and side crash-test ratings and a four-star rollover crash-test rating from NHTSA. The IIHS gives it a top “Good” score in the small overlap front test, a “Marginal” score in the updated moderate overlap front test, and an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centring, and automatic high beams. Reverse automatic emergency braking and traffic sign recognition are optional on Outer Banks and standard on Badlands.

The IIHS moderate overlap result is the main caveat to keep in mind when you are comparing used examples.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.95% compared with last year.
• Ford added new option packages for off-road capability, plus tech, styling, and interior updates.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Bronco Sport with the strongest mix of off-road hardware and tech improvements, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are mainly focused on price, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and updated equipment make it a compelling used buy.
