Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearRouyn-Noranda, QC

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 8.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 188 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

It stands out as one of the larger midsize three-row SUVs, with a stylish design, plenty of cargo space, and impressive technology that gives it broad family-friendly appeal. The formerly optional Trailering Package is now standard, which makes it easier to use the Traverse’s 2,268-kilogram towing capacity.

The trade-offs are the unpleasant engine note and the cheap-feeling interior plastics, plus the fussy wiper controls and aggravating third-row folding process.

With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Traverse’s appeal is built around strong utility, broad family use, and a standardised equipment set that makes it easier to live with. Its standard trailering capability and generous technology suite also point to a vehicle designed to handle daily family duties without much fuss.

The 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as making plenty of power, and the available all-wheel drive helps it deliver rapid, controlled acceleration. Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise when you choose the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds to the ownership experience.

If you buy used, the main long-term risk is that the same quality and usability complaints that show up in testing could continue to affect day-to-day satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT, Z71, and RS each bring different personalities, but the base setup can feel less polished than the pricier versions. The Z71 is the off-road version, while the RS and LT are better suited to buyers who want the Traverse’s style and family utility without the extra rugged hardware.
• Powertrain: The 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder makes strong power, but it can sound unpleasant and may spin the front tyres in front-wheel-drive mode. All-wheel drive helps smooth out acceleration and reduces torque steer.
• Safety package: Chevrolet Safety Assist covers adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. Higher-spec packages can add Super Cruise, remote-parking technology, a digital rearview mirror, and a 10-speaker Bose premium sound system.
• Infotainment: The standard 17.7-inch touchscreen includes Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar connected services, and Wi-Fi hotspot access. An 11-inch digital instrumentation panel is also standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving, and it averaged 10.9 L/100 km during testing.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to focus on if you want the Traverse’s core strengths without paying for the more specialised hardware. It gives you the family-friendly space, standard technology, and broad safety equipment that make the model appealing in the first place.
• Z71: This is the best fit if you want the most capability and the most distinctive character. It adds the off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, skid plate, red tow hooks, Twin Clutch AWD system, Terrain mode, and hill descent control, while also improving ride comfort on rough pavement.
• RS: Choose this if you want the sportier-looking, more style-focused version of the Traverse. It suits buyers who value appearance and a more upscale presence over the Z71’s rugged hardware.

The safety package is comprehensive across the range, with additional driver-assistance tech available on higher-spec versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,993 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $51,993 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,972 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make future resale more competitive if you own one now. If prices remain stable, a used Traverse bought near the current average may have less room to depreciate sharply from here. Strong equipment and broad family appeal should help keep it relevant with shoppers looking for a large three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2025 Traverse earns a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet equips every 2025 Traverse with a generous list of driver aids. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat.

Higher-spec packages can add a high-definition surround-view camera system, traffic sign recognition, rear pedestrian alert, hands-free Super Cruise driving assist, and remote-parking technology. Super Cruise is especially notable because it clearly shows when it is active and includes automated lane changes.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The standard Trailering Package broadens usefulness and makes the Traverse easier to use for towing.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,763 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,993 CAD average.
• It brings a more distinctive redesign and more standard driver aids.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $55,650 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $51,993 CAD average.
• It emphasises ride quality and broad family-vehicle versatility.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want the newest updates, standard trailering capability, and strong tech. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-year alternative.
