Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearKenora, ON

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 6.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 192 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The 2025 Traverse is a strong fit if you want a stylish, family-friendly three-row SUV with plenty of cargo space and impressive technology. Chevrolet also made the Trailering Package standard, which broadens its usefulness for towing and everyday family duty.

The trade-offs are real, though: the engine note is unpleasant, and the interior plastics feel cheap. The fussy wiper controls and aggravating third-row folding process also make day-to-day use less satisfying.

With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Traverse is built around a broad set of standard equipment and a redesigned package that aims to improve family usability. Its standard trailering capability and strong technology suite add to its appeal, while the expert assessment also points to good fuel economy for the segment.

The 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as making plenty of power, and the AWD system helps it deliver rapid, controlled acceleration. Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise when you choose the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds value to the ownership experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same quality concerns called out in testing — especially the powertrain sound and interior materials — may continue to affect satisfaction over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT, Z71, and RS each bring a different flavour, but the base setup can still leave you wanting more if you expect a premium-feeling cabin. The Z71 is the off-road version, while the RS and LT are better suited to buyers who want a more conventional family SUV.
• Powertrain: The 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder delivers strong output, but it also brings an unpleasant exhaust note and can produce wheel spin and torque steer in FWD mode.
• Safety package: Chevrolet Safety Assist covers adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. The Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. An 11-inch digital instrument panel is also standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving, and it averaged 10.9 L/100 km during testing.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to focus on if you want the Traverse’s core strengths — space, technology, and standard safety equipment — without paying for the more specialised versions.
• Z71: Choose this if you want the most capability and the off-road-oriented hardware, including the more capable AWD system, extra ground clearance, skid plate, tow hooks, and all-terrain tyres. It’s the best fit if you want the most rugged version.
• RS: Pick this if you want a more style-focused Traverse and are willing to pay more for the top-end look and feel.

The Z71 is the off-road version, while the standard safety package is generous across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 192 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,629 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $52,768 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,282 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for sellers to command top dollar right away. If you own one, pricing it competitively will matter more than relying on brand-new-model appeal alone.

The Traverse still has strengths that support future demand, especially its space, technology, and towing capability. Those qualities can help it hold attention among family buyers even if the broader market remains price-sensitive.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2025 Traverse earns a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet equips every 2025 Traverse with a generous standard safety package under the Chevy Safety Assist umbrella. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat.

Higher-spec versions can add the high-definition surround-view camera system, traffic sign recognition, rear pedestrian alert, and the Enhanced Driving Package with Super Cruise and remote-parking technology. Super Cruise is especially notable because it clearly shows when it is active and includes automated lane changes.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard trailering capability and available Super Cruise to a redesigned package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,512 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $52,768 CAD average.
• It brings a more distinctive redesign with more standard driver aids and a larger touchscreen.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $56,609 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $52,768 CAD average.
• It offers broad family-vehicle appeal with a pleasant ride and lots of safety equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, standard trailering capability, and strong technology, the 2025 is the primary choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to spend more for the newer-year alternative.
