Used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV for Sale near Glenbush, SK

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV cost?

Prices have softened 20.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 128 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns an 6.5/10 expert rating.

The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

It stands out for its affordable price and generous range, but it does not bring the performance or pizzazz of some rivals. The main trade-offs are its lack of typical EV performance and the absence of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Only 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV reliable?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is presented as a straightforward, well-sorted EV rather than a complicated one, and its standard equipment is described as dependable and unintrusive. The performance tuning is calm and predictable, with smooth braking, easy one-pedal driving, and a ride that stays composed over rough pavement.

Its battery-and-charging setup is also simple to live with: you get an 85-kWh battery pack, standard AC charging, and DC fast charging up to 150 kW. For used-EV ownership, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery has been charged sensibly and still holds healthy capacity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is attractive and the dual-screen layout is a highlight, but the base setup does not feel stripped out. You should compare the LT and RS carefully, since the RS adds sportier styling, larger wheels, red interior accents, and extra convenience and safety content.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a single 220-horsepower electric motor with front-wheel drive, while available all-wheel drive adds a second motor and lifts output to 300 hp. The front-drive version is the efficiency-focused choice, while AWD brings stronger acceleration.
• Safety package: All models include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with steering intervention, automatic high beams, and GM’s safety alert seat. In Canada, Active Safety Package 2 is standard and adds a surround-view camera, rear pedestrian alerts, automatic braking, side bicyclist alert, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, and intersection braking. Active Safety Package 3 adds semi-automated parking and Super Cruise.
• Infotainment: You get a 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, quick responses, and wireless charging availability. The big omission is the lack of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: The front-drive version is estimated at up to 513 km of range, while AWD is estimated at 494 km with the standard charger or 463 km with the heavier charger. DC fast charging tops out at 150 kW.
• Battery health: For a used EV, ask how often the battery was charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and review any available battery state-of-health information. You should also confirm how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is offered in 2 trim levels: LT and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the best-value choice because it delivers the core Equinox EV experience without the RS’s styling extras. You still get the strong range, comfortable ride, and useful standard safety content, so it makes the most sense if you want the smartest buy.
• RS: Choose this if you want the sportier look, larger wheels, blacked-out styling elements, red interior accents, and the added convenience and safety packages. It suits you best if appearance and extra equipment matter more than value.

In Canada, Active Safety Package 2 is standard, while Active Safety Package 3 adds Super Cruise and the semi-automated parking system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

The market looks moderately favourable if you are a selective buyer who is willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,584 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV's resale value?

The current average of $40,584 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,292 CAD.

That price drop suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand in the near term. If you buy well now, you may benefit from a lower entry cost than earlier shoppers faced. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may depend more on trim, condition, and equipment than on broad market momentum.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.88% compared with last year.
• It offers strong value with generous range and a more affordable used-market entry point.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,034 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $40,584 CAD average.
• It trades on the established Equinox nameplate to ease the switch to electric power.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the stronger overall value story and are comfortable paying a bit more for the newer model year. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better path, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
