Used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale near Selwyn, ON

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 10.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 193 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado earns an expert rating of 7.8/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

You get a right-sized pickup that is easier to fit in a garage and park in town, plus a strong off-pavement focus and easy-to-use technology. The trade-offs are a high price and questionable value for money, and the lineup does not include a long-bed option.

With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

The Colorado is built around a standard turbocharged engine, and the expert assessment points to strong performance from that powertrain. The truck’s easy-to-use technology and straightforward controls also support day-to-day ownership.

Its off-road-oriented hardware is substantial, but the same capability focus can add complexity and cost over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying a premium for features you may not fully use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: WT is the work-truck version, while LT adds body-colour door handles and mirrors plus nicer wheels. Trail Boss brings a five-centimetre factory suspension lift, 32-inch tires, and black plastic fender flares, while Z71 adds 32-inch tires, tow recovery hooks, and more body-colour detailing. ZR2 sits at the top with unique wheels and a distinctive hood, and ZR2 Bison adds beadlock-capable wheels, stamped steel bumpers, and a bed-mount spare tire carrier.
• Powertrain: Every Colorado uses a 2.7-litre TurboMax four-cylinder with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive is optional on WT and standard in Canada on LT, Trail Boss, Z71 and ZR2.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator and automatic high beams. Blind-zone steering assist, reverse automatic emergency braking and rear park assist are also standard, while rear pedestrian alert, trailering support for blind-zone steering assist, and a 360-degree camera system are optional.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in software, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and voice recognition. The system is easy to use, and the truck also has a digital gauge cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The Colorado is rated at 13.6 L/100 km city, 11.0 highway and 12.4 combined with 4WD. The ZR2 is rated at 14.1 L/100 km city, 13.8 highway and 14.0 combined, while the ZR2 Bison is rated at 14.8 L/100 km city, 15.1 highway and 14.9 combined.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the most affordable way into the Colorado, but it is the most basic version and is aimed at buyers who want the truck’s core capability without extra frills.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a nicer exterior treatment and keeps the Colorado’s easy-to-use tech and standard 4WD in Canada.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want the factory lift and more off-road hardware without jumping all the way to the top end of the range.
• Z71: This is the more polished off-road-leaning choice, with added exterior upgrades and tow recovery hooks.
• ZR2: Pick this if you want the most serious off-road setup, including the highest ground clearance and the most advanced hardware in the lineup.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard across the range, and Teen Driver technology is standard on all Colorado models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,494 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $51,516 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,785 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more selectively today, but it also suggests the truck may not hold its value as strongly as some shoppers would hope. If you plan to sell later, the current trend points to a market that is still adjusting downward. A well-equipped trim may still appeal to used buyers, but you should not count on a strong rebound in the near term.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado safe?

The 2025 Colorado earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in side-impact testing from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator and automatic high beams. Blind-zone steering assist, reverse automatic emergency braking and rear park assist are also standard, while rear pedestrian alert, trailering support for blind-zone steering assist, and a 360-degree camera system are optional.

Chevy’s Teen Driver technology is standard across all Colorado models. The main caveat is that IIHS crash-test ratings were not published at press time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.85% compared with last year.
• It pairs strong off-road capability with easy-to-use technology and a practical footprint.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,293 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,516 CAD average.
• It leans into a more recreation-focused character with strong capability and approachable cabin tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Colorado simple with one powertrain, a crew-cab short-bed layout, and five trim levels.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better all-around pick if you want the latest pricing context and a strong mix of capability and usability. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
