How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 194 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado earns an 7.8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It suits you well if you want a right-sized pickup that is easier to park in town and still leans hard into off-pavement capability. The Colorado also brings easy-to-use technology and a practical footprint, which broadens its appeal beyond trail-focused buyers.

Trade-offs: The price may cause sticker shock, fuel economy is poor, and value for money is questionable.

With 38.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

The Colorado is presented as a strong, well-rounded midsize truck with a powerful standard turbocharged engine and a straightforward lineup.

Its standard 2.7-litre TurboMax four-cylinder delivers strong, immediate power with minimal lag, and the engine/transmission pairing is described as well suited to the truck. The Colorado’s off-road hardware also suggests a robust, capability-first design.

Chevrolet’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps soften early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-spec trucks can be expensive to buy and fuel costs remain a concern over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: WT is the work-truck version with a black plastic grille and fascia, silver-painted steel wheels, and minimal exterior decoration. LT adds body-colour door handles and side mirrors plus nicer wheels, while Trail Boss, Z71, ZR2, and ZR2 Bison add progressively more off-road-focused hardware and more distinctive styling.
• Powertrain: Every Colorado uses a 2.7-litre TurboMax four-cylinder with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. 4WD is optional on WT and standard in Canada on LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator, and automatic high beams. Blind-zone steering assist, reverse automatic emergency braking, and rear park assist are also standard, while rear pedestrian alert, trailering support for blind-zone steering assist, and a 360-degree camera system are optional.
• Infotainment: Every version gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen, a digital gauge cluster, Google built-in software, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and voice recognition.
• Fuel efficiency: Estimated fuel economy is 13.6 L/100 km city, 11.0 highway, and 12.4 combined with 4WD. The ZR2 is rated at 14.1 L/100 km city, 13.8 highway, and 14.0 combined, while the ZR2 Bison is rated at 14.8 L/100 km city, 15.1 highway, and 14.9 combined.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the most affordable entry point, but it is the most basic-looking version and is best if you want the Colorado’s core capability without extra frills.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it adds a more polished look, standard 4WD in Canada, and the same easy-to-use tech.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a factory lift and stronger off-road hardware without jumping all the way to the top end.
• Z71: This trim adds a more upscale appearance and keeps decent off-road capability, making it a good middle ground if you want comfort and capability together.
• ZR2: This is the one to buy if off-road performance is your priority; it brings the most serious hardware and the most distinctive character.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim to get Chevy Safety Assist or Teen Driver.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and still find some value.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,508 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $51,529 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,703 CAD.

That decline suggests the Colorado has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means sellers may face more price pressure than they did a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the current trend points to a market that is rewarding buyers more than owners. For you, that can be a plus now, but it may limit upside if you expect strong resale retention.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• It blends strong off-road focus with easy-to-use tech and a practical size.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,354 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,529 CAD average.
• It leans into a more recreation-focused, lifestyle-truck character.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Colorado simple with one powertrain, a crew-cab short-bed body, and five trim levels.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market availability, capability, and tech, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
