Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale nearSurrey, BC

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 431 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is positioned as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with compact luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and easy-to-use technology. At the same time, the redesign is described as competent rather than compelling, and the main trade-offs are a potentially polarising design and an irritating transmission.

There are 30.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a modernised redesign that aims to keep pace with newer rivals while preserving the formula that made it successful.

Its standard quattro all-wheel drive and broad equipment list point to a well-rounded ownership experience, and the expert review describes the Q5 as comfortable and easy to live with. The powertrain is competent, but the dual-clutch transmission can feel rough and slow off the line, which may affect day-to-day satisfaction more than outright durability.

Audi continues to offer a four-year/80,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain warranty, matching the coverage of most rivals.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic competence and more about whether the transmission behaviour and premium pricing will still feel acceptable after the novelty wears off.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Canadian lineup includes base, Progressiv, and Technik. The base model misses out on matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights, while higher trims add more visual polish and equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-litre turbo-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The transmission can be slow off the line and can shift roughly.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature. Safety ratings were not available, and the model received too many Marginal or Acceptable IIHS results for a Top Safety Pick designation.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a cooled wireless charging pad. The Technik trim adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings were not available. The EPA-estimated combined figure is 9.4 L/100 km for the Q5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it leaves out some of the visual and equipment upgrades found higher up the range. It makes sense if you want the Q5’s core comfort and standard all-wheel drive at the lowest possible price.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it adds four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound, while also bringing more of the premium feel you expect from an Audi.
• Technik: This is the most feature-rich choice, adding the front passenger touchscreen and available air suspension. It suits you if you want the most advanced version of the Q5 and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is broad across the range, but the base trim misses some of the more distinctive lighting features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 431 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,761 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $53,780 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,141 CAD.

That drop suggests the Q5 has become more attractive to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may face more price pressure unless the vehicle is especially well equipped, lightly used, and priced competitively. If you buy now, the softer market could help you avoid paying peak pricing, but it also means resale recovery may be slower than it was last year.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q5 received too many Marginal or Acceptable IIHS ratings in crash testing for a Top Safety Pick designation.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature that warns occupants if they are about to open a door into the path of an oncoming vehicle or cyclist.

The main caveat is that the available crash-test results were not especially favourable, so safety-conscious used buyers should pay close attention to the equipment level and not assume every trim feels equally well equipped.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.04% compared with last year.
• It brings a full redesign with updated design language and tech, while keeping pace with newer rivals.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a more intuitive infotainment setup.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Q5 with updated tech and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the stronger buy right now. If your priority is simply getting the most intuitive cabin experience and you are willing to look ahead, the 2026 is worth considering.
