Used 2025 Audi Q5 for Sale near North Saanich, BC

How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 426 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.2/10. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Q5 is positioned as a compact luxury SUV that aims to improve on a winning formula without straying far from it. It should appeal most if you value comfort and straightforward technology, and it also benefits from standard all-wheel drive. At the same time, the design may be polarising, the transmission is irritating, and the high base price may give you pause.

Those trade-offs mean it feels competent rather than class-leading, even if it remains appealing for shoppers who want a premium, easy-to-live-with SUV. With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a refined, well-equipped compact SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a premium-feeling cabin. Its redesign brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite, and the expert review describes it as competent rather than compelling.

The performance notes point to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and quattro all-wheel drive, with the base 2.0-litre turbo-four producing 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The review also notes that the transmission can be slow off the line and that turbo lag is noticeable, which may affect how smooth the Q5 feels in everyday driving.

Audi continues to offer a four-year/80,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain warranty, which helps support ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with complex tech and a dual-clutch transmission can be more expensive to live with if repairs are needed.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model is the one most likely to leave you wanting more, since the higher trims add matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights. The cabin is well finished across the range, but the more expensive trims bring a more complete luxury feel.
• Powertrain: All models use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and quattro all-wheel drive, with a 2.0-litre turbo-four in the Q5 and a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 in the SQ5. The review notes turbo lag and some rough shifts, so pay attention to how the transmission behaves on a test drive.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and exit alert. There are no major trim-specific safety gaps called out beyond the base model missing some lighting upgrades.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Technik trim adds a 10.9-inch passenger screen, and Progressiv models add four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings were not available. The review cites U.S. EPA estimates of 9.4 L/100 km for the Q5 and 10.7 L/100 km for the SQ5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Q5 experience with standard all-wheel drive, strong tech, and a premium interior. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the redesigned Q5.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds useful equipment like four USB-C ports and the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system without jumping to the top trim.
• Technik: Choose this if you want the most advanced cabin setup, including the 10.9-inch passenger display and available air suspension. It is the most feature-rich version, but it is also the priciest.

Safety equipment is standard across the range, while the base trim misses some of the lighting upgrades found on the higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5?

You are shopping in a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 426 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,805 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $53,805 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,359 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Q5 has become more approachable for used buyers than it was a year ago. If you are planning to sell later, you should expect the market to remain sensitive to condition, mileage, and trim because the model sits in a competitive luxury SUV segment. The current trend also means a well-priced example may move faster than one that is priced too close to its original new-car positioning.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q5 received too many Marginal or Acceptable ratings in IIHS crash testing for a Top Safety Pick designation.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature that warns occupants if they are about to open a door into the path of an oncoming vehicle or cyclist.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.
• It brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite in a first redesign since 2018.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a year of refinement to the redesigned Q5 with the same core formula.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the better path. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on the 2026 as a comparison point, but the 2025 already offers the updated tech and design that define this generation.
