How much does the 2025 Audi Q5 cost?

There are 445 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q5 earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is positioned as a refined compact luxury SUV that is comfortable, comes with standard all-wheel drive, and offers easy-to-use technology. Those strengths make it appealing if you want something straightforward to live with and well suited to everyday use.

The trade-offs are a potentially polarising design and an irritating transmission, and the high base price also makes it harder to recommend without reservation.

With 30.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is presented as a redesigned model that aims to preserve the formula that made it successful while adding Audi’s current design language and tech suite.

Its standard all-wheel drive and comfortable, easy-to-live-with character support the case for dependable everyday use, and the expert review describes it as a polished, competent compact luxury SUV. The powertrain is less convincing in practice, though, because the dual-clutch transmission can be slow off the line and the engine response is held back by noticeable turbo lag.

Audi includes a four-year/80,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and equivalent powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is that the transmission and overall complexity may be more frustrating than the basic hardware suggests.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model is the most stripped-back version, while Progressiv and Technik add more equipment. All but the base model get matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights, so you should check whether the features you want are standard or trim-specific.
• Powertrain: Every model uses a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive, with a 2.0-litre turbo-four in the Q5 and a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 in the SQ5. The review notes turbo lag and rough shifts, so pay attention to how the transmission behaves in real driving.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning with swerve and turn aids, lane departure warning, parking sensors, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and an exit alert feature. The redesigned model did not earn a Top Safety Pick designation.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a cooled wireless charging pad. The Technik trim adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings were not available. The U.S. EPA estimated combined fuel economy of 9.4 L/100 km for the Q5 and 10.7 L/100 km for the SQ5.

Which 2025 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable giving up some of the extra lighting and convenience features found higher up.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds useful equipment such as four USB-C ports and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound.
• Technik: Choose this if you want the most advanced cabin experience, including the passenger touchscreen and available air suspension.

All but the base model get matrix-design LED headlights and animated taillights, so that is an important trim-level gap to keep in mind.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $53,725 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,061 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers' favour, which can make the Q5 easier to justify today than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means you should expect some depreciation pressure if you buy at the current average and try to resell soon. The good news is that the year-round range still shows meaningful demand, so well-priced examples should remain saleable.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.01% compared with last year.
• It brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite while keeping pace with more recently updated rivals.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a more intuitive infotainment setup and a refined ride.

The bottom line: If you want the newer redesign and a market that has already softened, the 2025 is the better path. If you are mainly focused on value and can wait for a slightly newer example with a more intuitive cabin, the 2026 is worth a look.
