Is the 2024 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which lines up with its focus on comfort, quality, and everyday usefulness. It is a polished luxury compact SUV with standard quattro all-wheel drive, and its appeal is centred on a luxurious interior, upmarket image, and practicality rather than off-road ability. Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 583 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,459 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $37,894 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,717 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more attractive level today, but it also means future resale values may depend more on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. Because the Q5 is positioned as a premium, practical SUV with broad appeal, clean examples should remain easier to move than less desirable luxury alternatives. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,097 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,894 CAD average.
• It blends sporty character with everyday comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,725 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,894 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned look and updated tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around path if you want a refined, well-equipped luxury SUV at a softer price than the newer model. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better secondary path; if you want the newest design and technology, the 2025 is the upgrade to consider.
