Used 2024 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearGloucester, ON

How much does the 2024 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 13.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 378 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert rating of 6.2/10, the 2024 Toyota Tundra is a solid pick if you want a full-size pickup with a clear identity. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

The Tundra stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain, and the TRD Pro version is noted for its ride and handling. It also offers an open-air driving experience, which gives it a more distinctive feel than a typical big truck.

The trade-offs are just as clear: its design may be polarising, forward visibility is poor, and the interior materials feel cheap. If you want a large pickup with Toyota’s reputation and some character, it fits that use case well.

32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota’s reputation for dependability is a major part of the Tundra’s appeal, and the model is described as having long-term durability. The expert notes also frame reliability as a key selling point for this truck, even while acknowledging that the third-generation version is still being judged over the long haul.

The performance notes reinforce that it is built to handle demanding use, and the cost-effectiveness notes point to Toyota’s durability as a core ownership advantage. If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is that the current generation’s durability record is still being established.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Tundra comes in Double Cab and CrewMax body styles, with base SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone trims. The base trim leaves out some equipment that appears on higher versions, and the TRD Pro adds a more rugged, distinctive setup.
• Powertrain: Every Tundra uses a twin-turbocharged 3.4-litre V6, with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive available. The i-Force Max powertrain adds a hybrid version of the V6 with standard 4WD.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, road-sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited or higher.
• Infotainment: The TRD Pro has a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are standard, and Toyota’s connected services include trial periods for Remote Connect, Drive Connect, Service Connect, and Safety Connect.
• Fuel efficiency: The TRD Pro averaged 16.5 litres per 100 kilometres in testing, versus a Natural Resources Canada combined estimate of 12.3 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Tundra is offered in 5 trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the entry point if you want the Tundra nameplate at the lowest rung, but you should expect fewer features than the higher trims.
• SR5: This is the trim to start with if you want a better balance of equipment and value without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim to consider because it unlocks more of the Tundra’s useful equipment, including the safety-package upgrades noted in the test-drive data.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want a more upscale version of the Tundra with more comfort and convenience content.
• Capstone: This is the top-end choice if you want the most luxurious take on the Tundra lineup.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited or higher.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 378 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,818 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $54,818 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,642 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for sellers to command top dollar right now. If you’re planning to sell later, the current trend means you may need to price competitively to stand out.

Even so, the Tundra’s Toyota badge and durability reputation help support long-term demand. Trucks with a strong identity and broad appeal often hold attention better than more ordinary alternatives.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2024 Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, and the Tundra Crew Cab 4WD models earn five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, with a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, road-sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited or higher.

The main caveat is the Poor rating in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test that measures rear-seat passenger protection. Lane-centring assist also behaves inconsistently in some conditions, which is worth keeping in mind if you do a lot of highway driving.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain and open-air driving experience.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,788 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,818 CAD average.
• It offers a more advanced and efficient take on the Tundra.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $59,841 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $54,818 CAD average.
• It adds new tech features and a retro TRD Rally Package.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of character and current-market value, the 2024 is the main path to consider. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is the better price-sensitive alternative.
