Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 235 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,964 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $29,462 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,551 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, buying closer to the lower end of the range can help protect your equity. Strong demand for efficient hybrids should still support interest from used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,033 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,462 CAD average.
• It emphasises practical value, fuel efficiency, and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with a solid owner satisfaction signal and a decent share of deal-priced listings, the 2024 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still keeps the Corolla Hybrid’s core strengths intact.
