Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $39,484 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $31,443 CAD average.
• It brings a new generation with updated styling and tech.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and are comfortable with a proven, well-liked package. If you are willing to pay more for the newer-generation redesign and updated features, the 2025 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
