Is the 2024 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Camry earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2024 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights reliability, and several drivers specifically mention choosing it for dependable everyday use and comfort. That lines up with the Camry’s broader reputation for trouble-free ownership and a car you can count on over the long term. For used buyers, the main risk is simply buying too early in the model’s life cycle, so a careful inspection and service-history review matter.

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

What is the 2024 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $31,054 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,114 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Camry is holding value reasonably well, even if the market has cooled a bit from a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may not see rapid appreciation, but you can still expect steady demand if the car is well kept and priced realistically. The current inventory level also suggests buyers have options, so condition and equipment will matter when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,360 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $31,054 CAD average.
• It adds a new look, new features, and a new hybrid powertrain.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and are comfortable with the current generation’s proven formula. If you want the newest styling and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the better fit; if price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter buy.
