Is the 2024 Tesla Model 3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for the 2024 Tesla Model 3. The overview describes it as a compact electric sedan that combines quick acceleration, long electric range, and Tesla’s over-the-air software updates, so you get a car that feels current and tech-forward. It also frames the Model 3 as a practical EV for day-to-day use, especially if you want efficiency and a more premium driving feel than its size might suggest. With 24.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Tesla Model 3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Model 3’s appeal comes from Tesla’s ongoing refinement, software updates, and a formula that has become more polished over time. At the same time, it notes build quality issues and a sparse cabin, so you should inspect condition carefully and make sure the car has been maintained well. For used buyers, that means reliability may be less about mechanical complexity and more about how well the individual vehicle has aged in real-world ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Tesla Model 3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,074 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Tesla Model 3's resale value?

The current average of $40,282 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,838 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices continue to ease. On the other hand, the Model 3’s strong appeal as a tech-focused EV can help support demand when you eventually resell it. If you buy at the right price now, you may be better positioned to absorb normal depreciation later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Tesla Model 3 or consider a different year?

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Model 3 in this range, the 2024 is the one to focus on, especially because pricing has eased and there is enough inventory to shop carefully. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also keep an eye on nearby model years and compare condition, mileage, and asking price before deciding.
