How much does the 2024 Porsche Macan cost?

Is the 2024 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Macan stands out as a compact luxury SUV that puts driving enjoyment first. It has a sportier brief than most compact SUVs, and Porsche’s formula of all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission gives it a polished, performance-focused character that helped make the model one of the brand’s best-selling vehicles.

It also has a high-quality interior and a strong reliability record, which adds to its appeal if you want something premium without giving up everyday usability. For 2024, it benefits from a redesigned dashboard and a next-generation infotainment system with a larger touchscreen, along with a revised range of engines and later equipment improvements. Standard kit is generous for the class, and useful features such as electric front seat adjustment, electric folding door mirrors, and a power tailgate help it feel well equipped.

Its main compromises are the ones that come with its shape and performance focus. Rear-seat space is below average, and the sleek body means it is not especially spacious inside. Higher-powered versions also give poor fuel economy, so the Macan is best suited to you if you value sharp handling, a premium feel, and strong road manners more than outright practicality or efficiency.

34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Porsche Macan reliable?

The 2024 Porsche Macan has a strong reliability record, which supports its appeal as a premium used SUV. It also pairs that reputation with a high-quality interior and a well-sorted driving character, so it feels like a polished ownership choice rather than a compromise pick.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a performance-focused luxury SUV can be more expensive to keep in top shape than a simpler mainstream model, especially if you prioritise higher-powered versions or want to maintain the vehicle to a high standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 196 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $76,220 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $76,220 CAD sits slightly below last year's $86,634 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Macan more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than it would be in a rising market. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.02% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 Macan is the right path if you want the updated cabin, strong standard equipment, and the same driver-focused character that defines the model. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering much of the same core appeal, so it is worth comparing condition, mileage, and asking price closely before you decide.
