Is the 2024 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Nissan Murano. The Murano stands out as a midsize SUV that leans into comfort and style rather than outright sportiness, with a refined, family-friendly character and a premium-feeling cabin. It also offers a spacious front row, useful everyday equipment, and a distinctive look that should appeal if you value a smooth, polished daily driver. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Murano’s overview points to a model with a strong crash-test record and a history of broadening safety features, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its comfort-focused design and established third-generation formula also suggest a familiar, well-understood used-SUV choice. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about novelty and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained properly, especially given its age and the complexity that comes with a well-equipped SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 213 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,474 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,925 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,750 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a future seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than broad market appreciation. A well-kept Murano with the right features should still attract interest, especially from shoppers who want comfort and a premium-feeling cabin.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,502 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,925 CAD average.
• The 2025 brings a new generation with a new powertrain and more tech and comfort features.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better value if you want a comfortable, well-finished Murano at a lower used price. If you want the newest redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the stronger upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter buy.
