Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan LEAF?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are prepared to compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 14.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,280 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan LEAF's resale value?

The current average of $26,304 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,375 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing environment may mean you should be realistic about future resale expectations. A well-priced example should still attract attention, but condition and mileage will matter even more when you go to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan LEAF or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 14.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.75% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better path if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a decent pool of listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of shopping this model year.
