It is designed for drivers who want safe, reliable, no-frills transportation, and its appeal is strongest if you prioritise low running costs, fuel efficiency, and straightforward everyday use. The 2024 Nissan Kicks is built around simplicity, with a value-first approach that tends to appeal to buyers who want dependable transportation without unnecessary complexity. Its fuel-efficient 1.6-litre four-cylinder setup and standard safety equipment support that reputation. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about sophistication and more about whether the vehicle’s small size and modest performance fit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,342 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,117 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $22,583 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,090 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Kicks easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current softness means you may need to price competitively to stand out. On the other hand, the model's value-focused reputation and efficient, practical positioning can help keep demand steady among budget-minded shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $24,890 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,583 CAD average.
• It brings a full redesign with available all-wheel drive and a more upscale feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the lower purchase price and a proven, practical formula. Consider the 2025 if you are willing to pay more for the redesign and available all-wheel drive, especially if those upgrades matter more than saving money.
