CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Nissan Armada
Summary
With 51 currently listed for sale and an average price of $44,855 CAD, 29.4% of 2024 Nissan Armada listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Nissan Armada 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Nissan Armada stands out as a large, body-on-frame three-row SUV that leans into traditional truck-based strengths. It seats seven or eight people, comes with four-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox, and uses a powerful V8 or turbocharged V6 engine according to the guide’s overview of the model line. That combination makes it appealing to buyers who want a full-size SUV with serious towing and a more rugged character than a typical crossover.
Within the second-generation run, the Armada’s appeal is tied to its mix of capability and comfort. The guide notes that the 2021 refresh brought thinner, crisper all-LED headlamps, new grilles, new bumpers, new taillamps connected by black trim, increased engine output on premium fuel, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also says the Armada received more luxury, while the pros list highlights powerful engines, body-on-frame durability for towing and longevity, and a spacious, comfortable cabin.
There are still trade-offs. The guide calls out poor fuel economy, outdated technology in the first and second generations, and cargo space that trails American SUVs. Even so, the 2024 Nissan Armada remains distinctive for shoppers who value a full-size SUV with strong towing credentials, a roomy interior, and the kind of traditional hardware that many newer rivals have moved away from.

Is the 2024 Nissan Armada a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Nissan Armada earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a large, body-on-frame three-row SUV with seating for seven or eight, four-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox, and a powerful V8 or turbocharged V6, so it suits you if you want traditional truck-based capability in a full-size family hauler. The overview also highlights serious towing ability, a roomy and comfortable cabin, and a rugged character that sets it apart from more crossover-like rivals. 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Nissan Armada reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 Nissan Armada’s body-on-frame construction and traditional hardware support its reputation for durability, especially if you plan to tow or keep the vehicle for a long time. Its strengths are tied to robust mechanical design and a spacious cabin, while its trade-offs include poor fuel economy and older technology. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher running costs and dated tech may matter more as the vehicle ages.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Armada?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.
- Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 51 listings available.
Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2025 if:
- It brings a full redesign with a new powertrain and a broader trim range.
The bottom line: The 2024 is the better fit if you want the traditional Armada formula at a more established price point, especially if you value towing strength, a roomy cabin, and rugged hardware. If you are price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter path; if you want the newest design and added trim choices, the 2025 is worth a closer look.
