Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 5.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 440 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It suits you well if you want a small crossover that prioritises style and driving enjoyment over maximum space. Mazda’s smallest crossover SUV has standard all-wheel drive, a polished interior, and a more energetic, rally-car-like attitude that helps it feel engaging in everyday driving.

The main trade-offs are rear-seat room and cargo space, which are both tight. The turbocharged version also brings stronger performance, but it is the less efficient choice.

With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market offers a decent number of attractive opportunities.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 CX-30 is presented as a refined, well-rounded small crossover that has been continually updated since its introduction. Its standard all-wheel drive, strong safety reputation, and polished driving character all point to a vehicle built for steady everyday use.

The performance tuning is smooth and composed, and the standard six-speed automatic and AWD system are described as working cleanly together. Mazda also includes a complimentary two-year subscription to Mazda Connected Services, which adds some ownership convenience.

If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that the turbocharged version can be costly to live with if fuel use matters to you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX, GS, GT, and Suna trims differ meaningfully in equipment. The base setup has the CX-30’s style and refinement, while the GS adds key driver-assistance features that are not standard on the lower trim. The GT and Suna bring more upscale equipment, including the larger infotainment display, and the Suna adds the turbocharged engine.
• Powertrain: You get a 191-horsepower 2.5-litre four-cylinder in the GX, GS, and GT, while the Suna uses a turbocharged four-cylinder with up to 250 hp. The turbo delivers stronger performance, but it is also the less efficient choice.
• Safety package: The CX-30 includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert on every version. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control come in at the GS trim. GT and Suna models add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.
• Infotainment: GT and Suna versions get a 10.25-inch infotainment display, while other models use an 8.8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and the larger screen adds touchscreen functionality when you use those smartphone mirroring platforms. GT and Suna also add USB-C ports, a wireless smartphone charger, and a Bose premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is rated at 9.3 L/100 km in combined driving, and it was observed at 13.3 L/100 km on a mountainous route.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the CX-30’s core style, standard all-wheel drive, and the 191-horsepower 2.5-litre engine. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the extra safety and convenience features found higher up.
• GS: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the important driver-assistance features that are not standard on the GX, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
• GT: This is the better pick if you want a more upscale daily driver. It adds the larger 10.25-inch infotainment display, wireless smartphone mirroring, USB-C ports, a wireless charger, and a Bose premium audio system, along with more parking and safety tech.
• Suna: This is the choice if you want the turbocharged engine and the most premium-feeling CX-30. It brings the strongest performance and the most equipment, but it is also the least fuel-efficient option.

For safety equipment, the lower trims miss some of the more advanced driver-assistance and parking features that arrive as you move up the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 440 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,136 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $29,144 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,936 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit more accessible for used buyers, which can help future sellers if demand stays steady. A vehicle that holds a clear identity, like this one, can still attract shoppers who want style and standard all-wheel drive in a compact package.

The turbocharged versions may appeal to a narrower audience because of their fuel use, but the broader lineup’s mix of safety, refinement, and everyday usability should help support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS and earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, along with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. In Canada, those latter features are not standard on the lower trim and come in at the GS trim.

Move up the lineup and you also get adaptive headlights. GT and Suna models add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist.

One caveat is that the automatic curve speed reduction technology can feel too aggressive.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new Suna trim, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,810 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,144 CAD average.
• It offers an attractive design and a classy, high-quality interior.

The 2024 is the better all-round pick if you want the latest updates, stronger tech, and the broadest trim choice. If your priority is saving money and you can live without the newer equipment, the 2023 is the value play.
