Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearOrleans, ON

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 5.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 448 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Mazda positions it as a small SUV that prioritises style and driving enjoyment over maximum space, and that comes through in the polished interior, standard all-wheel drive, and engaging road manners. The trade-offs are tight rear-seat room and limited cargo space, and the turbocharged version is less appealing if fuel economy matters to you.

With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-30’s appeal is built around a refined feel, strong safety, and a well-rounded driving character, which all support confidence in day-to-day use. Its standard all-wheel drive and broad feature set also point to a vehicle designed to handle Canadian conditions well.

The turbocharged version’s poor fuel economy is the main ownership drawback to keep in mind, especially if you plan to drive a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base versions focus on style and refinement, but the GS trim is where you get the full set of driver-assistance features. GT and Suna models add more upscale equipment, including adaptive headlights, parking sensors, automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes 191 hp, while the turbocharged four-cylinder raises output to up to 250 hp. The turbo delivers stronger performance, but it is also the version to avoid if fuel economy is a priority.
• Safety package: The CX-30 includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, plus forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. In Canada, those latter features come in at the GS trim, while GT and Suna add more advanced parking and traffic-jam features.
• Infotainment: GT and Suna versions get a 10.25-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, touchscreen functionality with smartphone mirroring, USB-C ports, a wireless smartphone charger, and a Bose premium audio system. Other models use the smaller 8.8-inch screen.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is rated at 9.3 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test route returned 13.3 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point if you want the CX-30’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and core appeal at the lowest price. It gives you the basics, but you miss out on some of the more useful driver-assistance and convenience upgrades found higher up.
• GS: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the full set of driver-assistance features in Canada while keeping the CX-30’s core formula intact. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the one to focus on.
• GT: Choose this if you want a more premium-feeling CX-30, with the larger infotainment display, wireless smartphone integration, USB-C ports, a wireless charger, and the Bose audio system. It also adds more advanced safety and parking tech.
• Suna: This is the most distinctive and upscale version, pairing the turbocharged engine with the richest equipment list. It suits you best if you want the strongest performance and the most fully loaded CX-30 experience.

The GS is the best-value trim, while GT and Suna are the trims that unlock the most desirable tech and safety upgrades.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 448 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,382 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $29,382 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,230 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the CX-30 is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment level.

The turbocharged and better-equipped versions may hold more appeal with shoppers who want the CX-30’s premium feel and stronger performance. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS and five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, along with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. In Canada, those latter features are not standard until the GS trim, while GT and Suna add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.

One caveat is that the automatic curve speed reduction technology can feel too aggressive in use, even though the overall safety package is strong.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year adds a new Suna trim, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,057 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,382 CAD average.
• It offers an attractive design and a classy, high-quality interior.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date CX-30 with the strongest mix of safety, tech, and trim choice, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live without the newer updates, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
