Is the 2024 Lexus NX a good car?

Generally — with a user rating of 4/5, the 2024 Lexus NX looks like a strong fit if you value distinctive styling, strong reliability, and a wide spread of powertrain choices. The NX also stands out for its minimalist cabin, large touchscreen display, standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and available efficiency-focused hybrid and plug-in hybrid options. Is the 2024 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Lexus NX is presented as a model with strong reliability and a reputation for dependability, which is one of its biggest selling points. Lexus’s broader dependability standing also supports that impression, and the NX’s appeal is strongest if you want a luxury crossover that should be reassuring to own over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about dependability and more about choosing the right trim and option package so you do not overpay for features you may not need.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,390 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $47,390 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,922 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the NX more appealing to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be grounded in the current softer pricing environment rather than last year’s higher benchmark. If demand stays steady, the NX’s broad appeal and premium positioning should help support values, but the current trend leaves less room for short-term appreciation.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and a well-regarded ownership profile, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s current market position and feature set.
