Used 2024 Kia Telluride for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2024 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 11.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 199 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Telluride earns a 4.8/5 from owners and an 8.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Drivers consistently praise the smooth ride, roomy interior, impressive tech features, comfortable seating, and strong design. The Telluride’s appeal is especially clear if you want a stylish, practical three-row SUV that feels well suited to family use.

The main trade-offs are the lack of a hybrid option, some cheap interior materials, and an irritating lane-keeping system. Even so, the Telluride remains a compelling choice if you want a well-rounded family SUV with strong value and a premium feel for the class.

With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe the Telluride as smooth, comfortable, and impressive in day-to-day use, with a roomy cabin and tech that feels easy to live with. That kind of feedback often points to a vehicle you can count on over time, especially when the ownership experience feels consistently positive.

The expert evaluation also describes the Telluride as quick, refined, and capable of handling rougher roads with confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the fuel economy remains a weak point, so running costs may be higher than you’d like.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX, SX, and SX Limited are the core trims, while the X-Line and X-Pro add more rugged styling and capability. The base grade misses some of the richer cabin touches found higher up, and the SX Limited stands out with premium Nappa leather, an artificial suede headliner, and a 24-inch dual-screen digital display panel.
• Powertrain: Every Telluride uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has plenty of power and good passing ability, but fuel economy is not a strength.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and available Blind-Spot View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every Telluride gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable connection, so wireless smartphone projection is not included. Kia Connect is included for three years, and wireless smartphone charging is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Telluride should use 11.7 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, and the expert test returned 12.4 L/100 km on a mountainous route and 13.4 L/100 km over a week of city driving.

Which 2024 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2024 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the best-value choice if you want the essentials of the Telluride experience without paying for the upper-trim luxury touches. It still gives you the core strengths that make the SUV appealing, including standard all-wheel drive and the full-size family-friendly layout.
• SX: This trim adds more equipment and is a good step up if you want a richer feature set without going all the way to the top. It suits you if you want more comfort and technology while staying below the most expensive versions.
• SX Limited: This is the trim to target if you want the most premium-feeling Telluride. It brings the nicest interior materials and the most upscale presentation, making it the right pick if cabin quality matters most.
• X-Line: Choose this if you want the more rugged look and a bit more capability, including extra ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, tow mode, and blacked-out styling details.
• X-Pro: This is the most capability-focused version, with all-terrain tires, heavy-duty engine cooling, and the highest towing rating. It makes the most sense if you want the toughest-looking Telluride and plan to use its added capability.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some advanced driver-assistance features are reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 199 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $46,351 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $46,351 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,442 CAD.

That price trend suggests the Telluride has become more accessible for used buyers, which can put some pressure on future resale values if supply stays healthy. For a seller, that means pricing competitively will matter more than it did a year ago.

At the same time, the Telluride’s strong reputation, broad appeal, and high owner satisfaction help support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2024 Telluride earns a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and an available Blind-Spot View Monitor.

One caveat is the lane-keeping system, which the expert evaluation found too intrusive when Highway Driving Assist is not engaged.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 keeps the Telluride’s winning formula largely intact, with only minor detail changes and strong value.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,839 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $46,351 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling changes, new technology, and new X-Line and X-Pro trims.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,103 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $46,351 CAD average.
• It remains highly capable for family travel, but its technology feels more dated.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, features, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the smart default. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 can deliver much of the same appeal for less money.
