Used 2024 Kia Telluride for Sale near Lloydminster, SK

How much does the 2024 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 10.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 204 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Telluride earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, roomy interior, and impressive tech features, and they also highlight the comfortable seating and strong design. In testing, the Telluride stands out as stylish, safe, roomy, rugged, and packed with surprise-and-delight details.

The main trade-offs are its lack of a hybrid option and some cheap interior materials, and the lane-keeping system can be irritating. That said, it fits especially well if you want a well-rounded three-row SUV for family use, and the market still shows 29.9% of listings as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with a smooth ride, roomy cabin, and features that owners enjoy living with every day. The expert assessment also describes it as a vehicle that Kia has largely left alone because the formula already works well, which supports the impression of a mature, well-sorted design.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright dependability and more about living with its efficiency and interior-material compromises over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro all come with standard all-wheel drive, but the X-Line is more of an appearance package with added ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, and a tow mode. The X-Pro adds more off-road capability with all-terrain tyres and heavy-duty engine cooling, while the SX Limited brings a more upscale cabin with premium materials.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has plenty of power, but fuel economy is not a strength.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and Advanced Highway Driving Assist.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable connection, so wireless smartphone projection is not included. Kia Connect is included for three years, and wireless smartphone charging is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says it should use 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving, and testing returned 12.4 L/100 km on a mountainous route and 13.4 L/100 km over a week of city driving.

Which 2024 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2024 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the best-value choice because it gives you the core Telluride experience at the lowest price, with the standard safety and technology that make the SUV so appealing.
• SX: Step up here if you want a richer feature set and a more premium feel without going all the way to the top trim.
• SX Limited: Choose this if you want the most upscale cabin, including the higher-quality materials and luxury-like details that push the Telluride closest to premium-brand territory.
• X-Line: Pick this if you want the rugged styling and added capability touches, including extra ground clearance and a tow mode, without moving to the more serious X-Pro setup.
• X-Pro: This is the most capability-focused version, with all-terrain tyres, heavy-duty cooling, and the highest towing rating in the lineup.

Safety-package upgrades vary by trim, so check carefully for features such as front parking sensors, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, and automatic rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing movement to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 204 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $46,761 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $46,761 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,495 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Telluride has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. The current softness also means resale values may be under a bit of pressure compared with last year, especially if more listings continue to come to market.

Even so, the Telluride's strong reputation, broad appeal, and family-friendly packaging should help it remain desirable. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2024 Telluride earns a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and Advanced Highway Driving Assist.

One caveat is the lane-keeping system without Highway Driving Assist, which can feel intrusive and less confidence-inspiring.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Telluride formula largely intact while adding only minor detail changes for the year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,633 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $46,761 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling changes, new technology, and new X-Line and X-Pro trims.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,029 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $46,761 CAD average.
• It remains a stylish, capable family SUV with strong road-trip ability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current-market pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter path; if you want a newer-feeling alternative and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is worth a look.
