Used 2024 Kia Telluride for Sale nearBurnaby, BC

How much does the 2024 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 9.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 205 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Telluride earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, roomy interior, comfortable seating, and impressive tech features. The Telluride also stands out for its strong design and overall family-friendly appeal.

The main trade-offs are its lack of a hybrid option and some cheap interior materials, while the lane-keeping system can be irritating. For you, that means the Telluride makes the most sense if you want a well-rounded three-row SUV with broad everyday appeal rather than maximum efficiency or a luxury cabin.

With 23.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV that owners are happy to live with day to day, especially because of its smooth ride, roomy cabin, and comfortable seating. The expert evaluation also reinforces that impression by describing the Telluride as a refined, well-rounded family SUV with strong overall execution.

That said, used buyers should still pay attention to how the vehicle has been maintained, especially if you plan to keep it for the long haul. A well-kept example is the safer bet for avoiding ownership headaches later.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro all come with standard all-wheel drive, but the X-Line adds a more rugged look plus 1 centimetre of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, and a tow mode. The X-Pro goes further with 18-inch matte-black wheels, all-terrain tires, heavy-duty engine cooling, and higher towing capacity. The SX Limited also adds a self-levelling rear suspension and more upscale cabin materials.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Telluride uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It has plenty of power and good passing ability, but fuel economy is not a strength.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and Advanced Highway Driving Assist.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable connection, so wireless smartphone projection is not included. Kia Connect is included for three years, and wireless smartphone charging is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Telluride should use 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving, while testing returned 12.4 L/100 km on a mountainous route and 13.4 L/100 km over a week of city driving.

Which 2024 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2024 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the best-value choice if you want the Telluride’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. It already gives you the roomy three-row layout, standard AWD, and the full safety foundation.
• SX: Step up here if you want a richer feature mix and a more premium feel without going all the way to the top trim. It suits you if technology and comfort matter more than rugged styling.
• SX Limited: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale Telluride experience. It adds the most premium cabin touches, including Nappa leather in Canada, and is the closest to luxury-SUV territory.
• X-Line: Pick this if you want the more rugged look and a bit more capability without moving to the full X-Pro setup. It adds ground clearance, improved angles, and tow mode, but it is still more of an appearance-and-utility package than a true off-road model.
• X-Pro: Choose this if you want the most capability and the highest towing rating in the lineup. It is the right fit if you value the tougher hardware and more adventurous character over pure value.

Safety-package upgrades vary by trim, so it is worth checking which driver-assistance features are included on the specific vehicle you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 205 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,431 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $47,474 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,607 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make the Telluride easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means resale values may face some pressure if the market stays soft.

Even so, the Telluride’s strong reputation and broad appeal should help support demand over time. Well-equipped, well-kept examples are likely to remain attractive to used buyers who want a practical three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2024 Telluride earns a five-star overall crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, junction cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and Advanced Highway Driving Assist.

One caveat is the lane-keeping system, which can feel intrusive and less confidence-inspiring when Highway Driving Assist is not engaged.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Telluride’s stylish, roomy, safe, and rugged formula with only minor detail changes.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,235 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,474 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling changes, new technology, and new rugged trim treatments.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,747 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,474 CAD average.
• It remains a capable long-distance family SUV, though ageing technology can be irritating.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced mix of value, safety, and overall polish, the 2024 is the smart default. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better bargain; if you want a newer-feeling path and do not mind paying more, the 2025 is worth a look.
