How much does the 2024 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 15.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 886 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Wrangler earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Drivers consistently praise its off-road capability, rugged style, and manual transmission option. The overview also points to strong capability, excellent infotainment, and an improved tow rating as reasons it appeals to buyers who want adventure-first utility.

The trade-offs are clear: ride quality on pavement is poor, advanced safety features are not standard, and safety scores are low. Even so, the Wrangler’s broader refresh adds more refinement and technology, which makes it easier to live with than older versions.

With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is enough market activity to support selective shopping.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights the Wrangler as a vehicle people trust for its off-road capability and rugged character, and the summary also points to a manual transmission option that owners value. The expert review describes it as a durable, trail-focused machine with solid front and rear axles and a five-link suspension system, which reinforces its dependable, go-anywhere reputation.

The 2024 model also benefits from a 3-year/60,000-kilometre basic limited warranty and a 5-year/100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its rugged design and trail use can make condition and maintenance history especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Wrangler’s trims vary a lot in capability and equipment, and the base model misses some advanced safety features that are optional or reserved for higher trims. If you want the best value, the Willys stands out because it adds Offroad+ mode, 33-inch tires, a rear locking differential, and rock rails.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.6-litre V6, a 6.4-litre V8, or a plug-in hybrid setup. The 4xe is the efficiency play, while the V6 is the one paired with a manual transmission.
• Safety package: Forward collision warning is standard on all but the base model, while blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and park assist are optional, except on the High Altitude and 392 models. There is no lane-keeping assist or lane-follow feature.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless hotspot. Navigation is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy ranges from 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined in the 4xe to 16.8 L/100 km combined with the 6.4-litre V8.

Which 2024 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport, Sahara, Willys, Rubicon, High Altitude, and 392.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but you should expect the fewest features and the least standard safety equipment. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and plan to keep things simple.
• Sahara: This is the better everyday choice if you want a more polished Wrangler without jumping straight to the most expensive off-road trims. It still keeps the Wrangler’s core character while adding more comfort-oriented appeal.
• Willys: This is the best-value trim. It adds meaningful off-road hardware and capability without the cost of the top trims, making it the sweet spot for most shoppers who want real trail ability.
• Rubicon: Choose this if off-road performance is your priority and you want the most serious trail-focused hardware short of the 392. It is the trim for buyers who plan to use the Wrangler’s capability often.
• High Altitude: This is the more upscale choice, and it also gets access to some safety features that are not standard elsewhere. It suits you if you want a more premium-feeling Wrangler.
• 392: This is the extreme performance choice, with the most power and the most aggressive character. It is for buyers who want maximum capability and are willing to pay for it.

Safety-package note: blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and park assist are optional on most trims, but standard on the High Altitude and 392.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 886 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,885 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $45,310 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,451 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy at today’s average, there is less room for immediate appreciation than there was a year ago.

The Wrangler’s strong enthusiast appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped trims and clean examples. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler has not yet been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Jeep finally added first- and second-row side-curtain airbags for 2024, and forward collision warning is standard on all but the base model. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and park assist are optional on most trims, while the High Altitude and 392 get them standard.

A key caveat is that there is no lane-keeping assist or lane-follow feature available. The safety picture is still shaped by the Wrangler’s low safety scores and the fact that many advanced driver aids are not standard.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year’s refresh adds more technology, safety, and refinement.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,020 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,310 CAD average.
• It stays true to the Wrangler’s trail-first character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $52,718 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,310 CAD average.
• It adds standard power windows and door locks across the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of updated tech and softer pricing, the 2024 is the smart default. If your budget matters most, the 2023 is the cheaper path into Wrangler ownership.
