Used 2024 Hyundai Tucson for Sale nearQuebec, QC

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 12.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 635 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Tucson earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its great features, sleek design, value for money, spacious interior, and modern technology. That lines up well with the Tucson’s role as a well-rounded compact SUV that prioritises balance, passenger space, and everyday usefulness over one single standout trait.

The trade-offs are worth noting: the infotainment system can be frustrating, and the powertrain is described as disappointing despite the energetic turbocharged setup mentioned in the broader review. If you want a small SUV that feels broadly capable and well equipped rather than especially sporty or especially quick, the Tucson fits that brief well.

With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with strong value, a spacious cabin, and features that make it easy to live with over time. The expert review also describes the Tucson as a well-rounded SUV with a comfortable ride, precise steering, and a cabin that blends space with useful technology.

Hyundai’s 5-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty also helps reduce early ownership risk for used buyers who want extra peace of mind.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Tucson?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Preferred trim gives you the core Tucson experience with 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The Trend package adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, leatherette upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and two extra USB ports. The N Line adds 19-inch alloy wheels, sporty interior accents, ambient lighting, paddle shifters, aluminium pedals, and a Bose 8-speaker sound system. The Luxury trim adds heated outboard rear seats, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and rear occupant alert and parking warning features. The Ultimate trim adds ventilated front seats, genuine leather upholstery, memory settings, and the most advanced driver-assistance equipment.
• Powertrain: The standard gas model uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It is fine for city driving, but it can feel strained when merging or passing, so you should test it on a highway route if you care about acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, remote parking, and a blind-spot camera system.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument panel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wired, not wireless, and the interface uses haptic controls instead of a traditional volume dial, so it is worth checking whether you like the layout before you buy.
• Fuel efficiency: The standard gas AWD model is rated at 10.0 L/100 km in city driving, 7.9 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.1 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Hyundai Tucson trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, N Line, Luxury, and Ultimate.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Tucson’s core strengths without stretching the budget. You still get heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a strong safety suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• N Line: Choose this if you want the sportier look and extra cabin flair, including 19-inch wheels, ambient lighting, paddle shifters, and the Bose audio system. It is the right pick if style matters more to you than maximum comfort-focused equipment.
• Luxury: This is the best middle-ground choice if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top trim. The heated rear seats and added convenience features make it a strong fit for families.
• Ultimate: Pick this if you want the most complete Tucson experience. It adds ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, memory settings, and the most advanced parking and camera technology, making it the best choice if you want maximum equipment and the easiest day-to-day living.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while the most advanced parking and camera features are reserved for the Ultimate trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 635 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,045 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $29,047 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,381 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand in the near term. For a future seller, the softer market means you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially if similar listings are plentiful.

Even so, the Tucson’s broad appeal, strong feature content, and family-friendly packaging should help it remain attractive to shoppers looking for a well-rounded compact SUV. Models that are clean, well equipped, and priced near the market average should be easier to move than stripped or overpriced examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson safe?

The 2024 Tucson earns Good results in most phases of IIHS crash testing, with Acceptable headlights and a Superior crash-prevention score. It also earns five-star ratings in a frontal crash test and four-star ratings in a rollover test from NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, remote parking, and a blind-spot camera system.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year combines a well-rounded cabin, strong safety equipment, and a good value proposition.

The bottom line: If you want a used Tucson that balances price, safety, space, and equipment, the 2024 is a sensible choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-equipped example you can find at the lowest clean-market price.
