Used 2024 Hyundai Tucson for Sale nearKitchener, ON

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 13.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 608 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for you to compare prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Tucson earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its great features, sleek design, spacious interior, modern technology, and value for money. In use, it comes across as a well-rounded compact SUV that covers a lot of what you want from an all-purpose small SUV rather than chasing one narrow niche.

The trade-offs are that the infotainment system can be frustrating, and the powertrain is described as disappointing even though the turbocharged setup is energetic. It fits you best if you want a practical, comfortable, and feature-rich small SUV with broad appeal rather than a model built around one standout performance trait.

Only 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is giving you some room to shop, but not a flood of bargain inventory.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because it is seen as feature-rich, spacious, and good value for money. The expert assessment also frames it as a well-rounded SUV that blends comfort, precision, and useful technology in a way that supports everyday dependability.

Hyundai’s 5-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty, including the powertrain, adds peace of mind for used buyers who want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

Which 2024 Hyundai Tucson trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, N Line, Luxury, and Ultimate.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value-focused starting point, and it already gives you a strong equipment list with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a full set of standard driver-assistance features. Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 608 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,130 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $29,138 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,652 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy at today’s average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim desirability. Well-equipped versions with stronger feature content should be easier to market than bare-bones examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson safe?

The 2024 Tucson earns Good ratings in most phases of IIHS crash testing, an Acceptable rating for its standard headlights, and a Superior score for crash-prevention technology. It also earns five-star ratings in a frontal crash test and four-star ratings in a rollover test from NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Higher trims add parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, Smart Park remote-parking, and a blind-spot camera system.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 Tucson is a well-rounded compact SUV with strong safety, good value, and a broad mix of comfort and technology.

The bottom line: If you want a used Tucson that balances space, safety, style, and value, the 2024 model is the one to focus on. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you may also want to compare nearby model years and shop whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
