If you want a hybrid SUV that leans into usefulness rather than sporty driving, this model year fits that brief well. 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid reliable?

The overview presents it as a comfort-focused hybrid with a well-equipped cabin and a practical three-row layout, which are the kinds of traits many used buyers value over time. Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 83 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,079 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $43,493 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,049 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the model easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend points to a vehicle that is holding value reasonably well, but not strongly appreciating in the near term. If you buy at the right price, you may be better positioned to absorb normal depreciation later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,883 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $43,493 CAD average.
• It offers practical space and efficiency with a sensible, value-focused setup.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer generation’s added standard equipment, three-row practicality, and a market that has already softened from last year. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the better value play and still gives you the core strengths of the Santa Fe Hybrid in a more affordable package.
