Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,133 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $49,133 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,662 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pilot has softened enough to give used buyers more leverage today, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy near the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong demand for roomy, practical three-row SUVs should help support interest, especially when the vehicle is well equipped and in good condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $47,976 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $49,133 CAD average.
• It brings a newly redesigned, more rugged look with added convenience.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $54,581 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $49,133 CAD average.
• It keeps the formula simple with standard AWD and a practical cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing and market availability, the 2024 is the main path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer model-year updates and are willing to pay more.
