Used 2024 GMC Yukon XL for Sale nearStoney Creek, ON

How much does the 2024 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 8.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 111 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL stands out as a full-size SUV built around space, capability, and a more refined ride than older versions. It adds more than 30 centimetres between the front and rear axles, which gives it extra passenger room and cargo space. For this generation, GMC also switched to an independent rear suspension, a change that improves ride and handling while helping create a more comfortable third row and additional cargo capacity.

For buyers looking for a large SUV with a broad range of trims and equipment, there is plenty to like here, especially if you value towing, passenger space, and a more modern driving experience. The trade-offs are clear, though: it remains a large, truck-based SUV, so it is not as nimble as car-based crossovers, and fuel economy is not one of its strengths.

With 29.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL is presented as a more refined version of a large, truck-based SUV, with the independent rear suspension helping improve ride and handling. It also benefits from updated exterior styling and an upgraded infotainment system for 2024.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the usual one for a large, heavy SUV: higher running costs and more wear-related expense potential than you might see with a smaller vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon XL?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 111 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $75,495 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $79,392 CAD sits slightly below last year's $86,404 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy with more confidence today, but it also means future resale value may be more sensitive to market conditions if prices continue to ease. If you plan to sell later, buying closer to the lower end of the range gives you a better cushion against depreciation. For a future seller, the current trend suggests the market is still adjusting rather than surging upward.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.12% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the updated styling, upgraded infotainment, and the more refined feel of this generation while still shopping in a market with some deal potential. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2024 makes sense when you want the newer package and can find one near the lower end of the price range.
