Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearVictoria, BC

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 13.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 189 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover that aims to feel like a full-size SUV, and its larger footprint, revamped interior, and easy-to-use technology support that mission. It stands out most for its well-executed cabin and plenty of cargo space, while the powerful turbocharged engine should make it feel capable in everyday driving and when carrying passengers or gear.

The trade-offs are that its design may be polarising and its driving experience is fairly pedestrian. If you care more about space, cabin quality, and tech than style or sporty road manners, it fits that brief well.

32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is presented as a redesigned model with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a revamped interior, which points to a fresh start for the nameplate rather than a carryover design. Its expert assessment also highlights a strong cabin and useful technology, both of which can support day-to-day ownership satisfaction.

The engine is described as powerful and capable of hauling the Acadia up to highway speeds with no drama, which is a good sign for everyday dependability. GMC also backs new vehicles with a three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a newer redesign can bring more uncertainty than an established carryover model, so it makes sense to prioritise a well-maintained example with complete service records.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Elevation is the base trim and replaces the older SLE and SLT names, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels in Canada, while 22-inch wheels are optional on Elevation and Denali. AT4 adds model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tyres, and Denali gets its own grille and upscale interior touches.
• Powertrain: Every Acadia uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and AT4 adds a more sophisticated twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, and a rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 12-speaker Bose audio system. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, while an 8-inch head-up display and a 16-speaker Bose system are available.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Acadia at 11.2 L/100 km combined, with 12.3 L/100 km in the city and 9.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the value-oriented starting point, and it gives you the core Acadia experience with the standard tech and safety equipment, plus 20-inch wheels in Canada. If you want the newest Acadia at the lowest entry price, this is the trim to start with.
• AT4: This is the best fit if you want the more rugged character. It adds all-terrain tyres, a twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride-height lift, skid plates, and a Terrain drive mode. It suits you best if you like the look and light off-road capability without moving up to the pricier Denali.
• Denali: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with unique styling, leather seats, and the available premium suspension tune with 22-inch wheels. It is the trim to consider if you want the most upscale Acadia, though the cabin materials may not feel as premium as the badge suggests.

Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up to a specific trim to get that driver-assist option.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 189 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,864 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $48,864 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,785 CAD.

That softer pricing means a future seller may not see the same return that earlier owners enjoyed, especially if the market stays well supplied. The current trend also suggests buyers have become more price-sensitive, which can put pressure on resale values for higher-trim examples if they are not priced competitively.

On the other hand, the Acadia’s strong cabin, useful technology, and broad family appeal should help support demand over time. Well-equipped examples that are clean, well maintained, and sensibly priced should remain easier to move than less desirable listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia gets an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and collision prevention system, and a Marginal score for its headlights from the IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and take over at intersections.

The main caveat is the Marginal headlight result, which is worth keeping in mind if you often drive at night.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings a full redesign, a larger body, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the biggest interior, the best tech, and the strongest overall used-market appeal, the 2024 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry cost, but you will give up the redesigned cabin and the latest equipment.
