Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearSaskatoon, SK

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 13.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 174 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The 2024 Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover that aims to feel more like a full-size SUV, and its bigger footprint, revamped interior, and new turbocharged four-cylinder engine are central to that mission. Its well-executed cabin and easy-to-use technology are the main strengths, while the design and driving experience are less compelling.

Trade-offs: The design may be polarising, and the driving experience is described as fairly pedestrian. That means you should buy it for space, cabin quality, and tech rather than for style or driving excitement.

With 27.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia is presented as a redesigned model with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a revamped interior, which gives you a fresh starting point rather than an older carryover design. The expert assessment also points to a strong overall package in space and technology, which can matter for day-to-day dependability because the vehicle’s controls and cabin layout are straightforward to live with.

Its powertrain is described as pulling strongly and consistently, and the standard eight-speed automatic helps round out the driving experience. GMC’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty also provide useful coverage on a new vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a newer redesign can bring more uncertainty than a mature carryover model, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Elevation replaces the SLE and SLT trims, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels in Canada, while 22-inch wheels are optional on Elevation and Denali. AT4 adds model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and Denali gets unique grille detailing and exclusive wheel designs.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Acadia uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and the AT4 adds a more sophisticated twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, and a rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, and Google built-in apps are part of the system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Acadia at 11.2 L/100 km combined, with 12.3 L/100 km in the city and 9.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the trim to start with if you want the new Acadia’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. You still get the redesigned cabin, the large screens, wireless smartphone integration, and the standard safety and convenience features, so it covers the essentials well.
• AT4: This is the best fit if you want the Acadia’s more rugged character. It adds the off-road-oriented twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride height lift, skid plates, special suspension tuning, and Terrain mode, making it the obvious choice for buyers who want the most adventurous version.
• Denali: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with leather seats, distinctive interior stitching, and premium suspension tuning when equipped with 22-inch wheels. It suits you best if you want the most upscale presentation and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, and Super Cruise is available on all trim levels if you want hands-free driving capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options but not so much that you can assume every listing is negotiable.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 174 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,063 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $49,063 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,519 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the current softer pricing may limit how much upside there is in the near term, especially if supply stays healthy.

On the other hand, the Acadia’s strong cabin, useful technology, and roomy three-row layout should help it remain appealing to family buyers. That kind of broad usefulness can support demand when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia gets an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and collision prevention system, and a Marginal score for its headlights from IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and to take over at intersections.

The main caveat is the Marginal headlight result, which is worth keeping in mind if you do a lot of night driving.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year brings a full redesign, a larger body, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the biggest cabin, the best tech, and the most up-to-date design, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is lower purchase price, a nearby older model year may be the better value path, but you’ll be giving up the redesign and the newer feature set.
