Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearPort Perry, ON

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 15.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 196 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover that aims to feel like a full-size SUV, and its larger footprint helps it deliver a more substantial presence than smaller crossovers. Its well-executed interior and easy-to-use technology are the main strengths, while the design and driving experience are less compelling. The engine is described as powerful, which suits you if you value everyday usability, passenger hauling, and cargo space more than sporty road manners.

Cons: The design may be polarising, and the driving experience is fairly pedestrian.

The market shows 31.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia is presented as a redesigned model with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a revamped interior, which suggests a fresh start rather than an ageing carryover. The expert assessment also points to a strong overall package in space and technology, with the powertrain described as capable and the cabin execution standing out. The performance notes describe the engine as pulling strongly and consistently, which is a good sign for day-to-day dependability in a family SUV.

GMC’s warranty coverage includes a three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty on new vehicles, which can help reduce early ownership risk.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a first-year redesign can bring more uncertainty than a mature carryover model, so a careful inspection and service-history check matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Elevation replaces the SLE and SLT trims, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels in Canada, while 22-inch wheels are optional on Elevation and Denali. AT4 adds 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tyres, red tow hooks, black wheel-arch trim with marker lights, and blacked-out trim, while Denali gets a more intricate grille and a more upscale cabin presentation.
• Powertrain: Every Acadia uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and the engine is described as strong enough to haul the Acadia up to highway speeds with no drama.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, and a rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, and Google built-in apps are part of the system. An 8-inch head-up display and a 16-speaker Bose system are available.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Acadia at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, with 12.3 city and 9.9 highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the redesigned Acadia’s core strengths without paying for the more specialised trims. You still get the new turbocharged engine, standard AWD, the large screens, and the full driver-assistance suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• AT4: This is the trim to choose if you want the most rugged character. It adds the off-road-focused twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride-height lift, skid plates, Terrain mode, and unique exterior details. It suits you best if you want the Acadia’s space and tech with a more adventurous look and some extra capability.
• Denali: This is the luxury-leaning trim with the most upscale presentation, including unique grille detailing, leather seats, and available premium suspension tuning with 22-inch wheels. It is the right pick if you want the most polished Acadia experience, though the cabin materials may not feel as premium as the badge suggests.

Super Cruise is available as an option on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up to a specific trim to access that feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 196 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,294 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $48,294 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,001 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your purchase price matters more than usual, because a lower entry point can help protect your eventual return. The Acadia’s strong equipment list and broad family appeal should help support demand, but resale will still depend heavily on trim, condition, and mileage.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia gets an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and a Marginal score for its headlights from the IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and to take over at intersections.

The headlight result is the main safety caveat to keep in mind, especially if you do a lot of night driving.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Redesigned for the new model year, it gains a larger body, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Acadia with the biggest cabin, the best tech, and the strongest current market leverage, the 2024 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but you would be giving up the redesign’s larger footprint and updated cabin.
