Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearOwen Sound, ON

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 15.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

It stands out as a redesigned three-row crossover with a revamped interior, plenty of cargo space, and easy-to-use technology. That makes it a strong fit if you want a practical family vehicle with a spacious cabin and a feature-rich setup.

The main trade-offs are its potentially polarising design and fairly pedestrian driving experience, so it is more convincing as a roomy, tech-friendly crossover than as an especially engaging one.

There are 27.0% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia’s redesign focuses on a more spacious cabin, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a more modern technology suite, all of which point to a vehicle built to serve as a practical family hauler. Its standard all-wheel drive and substantial towing capability also suggest it is engineered for everyday versatility rather than delicate use.

The powertrain is described as pulling strongly and consistently, and the transmission is standard across the range, which supports the impression of a straightforward, durable setup. GMC also backs new vehicles with a three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a larger, more complex three-row crossover can be costly to keep if previous maintenance has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Elevation replaces the SLE and SLT trims, while AT4 and Denali add their own styling and equipment themes. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels in Canada, while 22-inch wheels are optional on Elevation and Denali. If you want the most rugged look and hardware, the AT4 is the trim to focus on; if you want the most upscale presentation, Denali is the one to inspect closely.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Acadia uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and the engine is described as pulling strongly and consistently.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, and Google built-in apps are integrated into the system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, with 12.3 city and 9.9 highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the redesigned Acadia’s core strengths without paying for the more specialised trims. You still get the standard turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, the large touchscreen, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features.
• AT4: This is the trim to choose if you want the most rugged character. It adds a twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride height lift, special suspension tuning, skid plates, and a Terrain drive mode. It is the most distinctive option if you plan to spend time on rough roads.
• Denali: This is the luxury-leaning trim, with leather seats, unique interior detailing, and premium suspension tuning when equipped with 22-inch wheels. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale Acadia, though the cabin materials are not described as fully matching the badge’s premium billing.

Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, but it is optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.43% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,584 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $49,584 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,633 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may have less depreciation risk than someone who paid closer to the previous year’s average.

The Acadia’s strong equipment list and broad family appeal should help support demand, especially for shoppers who want a spacious three-row crossover with modern tech. Still, future resale will depend heavily on trim choice, condition, and whether the vehicle was priced competitively when you bought it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia gets an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and collision prevention system, and a Marginal score for its headlights.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, but it remains optional.

The main safety caveat is the Marginal headlight result, which is worth keeping in mind if you often drive at night.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year brings a redesign, a revamped interior, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a more modern technology package.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the strongest tech and the most up-to-date cabin, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry price, but you give up the redesigned interior and the latest equipment.
