Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearMerritt, BC

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 14.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 192 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the expert score is 6.8/10. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover that aims to feel like a full-size SUV, and that shows up in its larger footprint, revamped interior, and strong cargo focus. Its well-executed cabin and easy-to-use technology are the main strengths, while the design is more polarising and the driving experience is described as fairly pedestrian.

Cons: You should expect a fairly ordinary driving feel, and the styling may not be for everyone.

The current market shows 31.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is presented as a redesigned model with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a more substantial body, which points to a modernised package rather than an ageing one. The expert review also describes the engine as pulling strongly and consistently, which is a good sign for everyday dependability in normal use.

The fuel-economy note suggests it is not especially efficient for the class, but the powertrain is described as more than up to the task. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a larger, more complex three-row SUV can bring higher running costs than a smaller crossover.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Elevation replaces the older SLE and SLT trims, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels in Canada, while 22-inch wheels are optional on Elevation and Denali. AT4 adds model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tyres, and Denali gets its own grille treatment and upscale interior touches.
• Powertrain: Every model uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and AT4 adds a more sophisticated twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, and a rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, with Google built-in apps and available 16-speaker Bose audio.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, with 12.3 city and 9.9 highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the trim to focus on if you want the core Acadia experience at the lowest entry point. It gives you the redesigned cabin, standard AWD, the 15-inch touchscreen, and the full suite of driver-assistance features, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• AT4: Choose this if you want the more rugged look and the extra hardware that supports light off-road use. It adds the twin-clutch AWD system, ride-height lift, skid plates, Terrain mode, and all-terrain tyres, so it suits you best if you value capability and a tougher appearance.
• Denali: This is the upscale pick, with more distinctive styling and a more premium cabin presentation. It is the right choice if you want the most luxurious-feeling Acadia, but the review notes that the materials still do not fully match the trim’s billing.

Super Cruise is available as an option on all trim levels, and the rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 192 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,738 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $48,738 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,877 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, the softer market gives you a better entry point than a year ago. For a future seller, the key will be whether demand stays steady for a well-equipped three-row SUV with strong tech and space.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia gets an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and collision prevention system, and a Marginal score for its headlights.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking front and rear, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, automatic high beams, a following-distance indicator, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and to take over at intersections.

The headlight result is the main caveat to keep in mind when you are comparing safety equipment.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model brings a redesign, a larger body, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Acadia with the newer cabin, stronger engine, and current tech, the 2024 is the clear path. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may still make sense, but you would be giving up the latest redesign and some of the space-and-tech appeal that define this version.
