Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale near Lumby, BC

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 13.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover that aims to feel like a full-size SUV, and that shows up most clearly in its spacious cabin, strong cargo capacity, and easy-to-use technology. Its well-executed interior and tech features are the main reasons it stands out, while the new turbocharged four-cylinder engine gives it solid everyday capability.

The trade-offs are that its design may be polarising and its driving experience is fairly pedestrian. In other words, you should be shopping this model if you value space, cabin quality, and tech more than sharp handling or standout style.

33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia is presented as a redesigned model with a strong emphasis on practicality, and its powertrain is described as more than up to the task for a vehicle this size. The turbocharged four-cylinder pulls strongly and consistently, and the model’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty plus five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty add some peace of mind for used buyers.

Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, so ownership costs may be influenced more by size and capability than by fuel savings. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a larger, more complex family SUV can bring higher running costs than smaller crossovers.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Elevation is the base trim and replaces the older SLE and SLT, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The base trim gets 20-inch wheels in Canada, and the AT4 and Denali bring their own visual and hardware differences.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Acadia uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and the engine is described as strong enough for highway driving and towing.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, and a rearview camera mirror is available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in apps. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined, with 12.3 city and 9.9 highway.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the trim to start with if you want the Acadia’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. It gives you the redesigned cabin, the standard 15-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• AT4: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking version with model-specific 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, a 2.5-centimetre ride height lift, skid plates, and Terrain drive mode. It suits you best if you want the Acadia’s capability-focused character without moving up to the luxury trim.
• Denali: This is the upscale choice, with unique styling, leather seats, and the available premium suspension tune for models with 22-inch wheels. It makes sense if you want the most premium-feeling Acadia, but the cabin materials still do not fully match the trim’s luxury billing.

Super Cruise is available as an option on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up a specific trim just to get that feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,334 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $49,334 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,084 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Acadia has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. A softer market can make it harder to recover a premium unless your vehicle is especially well equipped or lightly used. On the other hand, the Acadia’s strong equipment list and roomy, family-friendly layout should help it stay relevant with shoppers looking for a practical three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia earns an Acceptable rating for its moderate overlap front test and collision prevention system, and a Marginal score for its headlights.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking front and rear, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, traffic-sign recognition, automatic high beams, a following-distance indicator, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and to take over at intersections.

The main caveat is the weaker headlight result, which is worth keeping in mind if you often drive at night.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model brings a redesigned interior, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a larger, more substantial three-row package.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Acadia with the newest cabin, tech, and powertrain, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2024’s updated packaging and softened pricing make it the more compelling choice for shoppers who want the latest version of this SUV.
