Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 489 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,131 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $49,337 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,976 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than to broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still draw interest because the Durango’s mix of space, power, and AWD gives it a clear identity in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,672 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $49,337 CAD average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $51,318 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $49,337 CAD average.
• It keeps the cabin feeling current with a modern infotainment system.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the current-year balance of price, satisfaction, and market availability. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer final-year packaging and are comfortable paying more.
