Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 12.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 339 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns 4/5 from users and 6.83/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out in the subcompact SUV class by covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up a more polished presentation.

The main trade-offs are its underwhelming base engine and fairly pedestrian performance, so you should not expect quick acceleration or especially engaging driving dynamics. Even so, the Trailblazer’s broader appeal comes from its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology.

28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a practical small SUV that checks the boxes for price, efficiency, and capability, which supports the case for dependable everyday use. Its expert evaluation also points to straightforward braking, a comfortable ride over most road imperfections, and muted road noise, all of which are encouraging signs for day-to-day ownership.

The powertrain is not especially strong, but the bigger used-buyer concern is more about livability than durability: you should expect a modestly powered SUV rather than a quick one. For long-term ownership, that means the main risk is disappointment with performance, not a lack of basic competence.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling is more athletic for 2024, and the cabin gets a more modern look with the larger 11-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel. Base-trim shoppers should pay attention to feature gaps, since some rivals offer more standard safety equipment.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, or a turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder with 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. The base engine is the weaker choice, while the 1.3-litre is the better pick if you want more confident passing and highway merging.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and satellite radio. There is no native navigation system, so you will rely on your phone for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 combined. The upgraded turbo engine with AWD is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the 1.2-litre engine is the weakest setup and the overall driving experience is the least convincing. It makes sense only if your priority is the lowest starting price and you are comfortable with the most basic version of the Trailblazer.
• LT: This is the best-value choice because stepping up to the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine only adds a small amount to the price, and it is the version you should strongly consider if you want the Trailblazer to feel more complete.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful turbo engine and all-wheel drive, and it is the version used for the expert test drive. It suits you if you want the Trailblazer’s more capable setup and a bit more character.
• RS: This is the top-priced version in the lineup and is aimed at shoppers who want the most upscale or style-forward Trailblazer experience.

All Trailblazers include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the optional Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 339 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,503 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,503 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,231 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can make it easier for you to negotiate now. For a future seller, the same trend means resale expectations should stay realistic unless market conditions tighten.

The Trailblazer’s practical strengths and broad appeal should still help it attract shoppers who want a small SUV with space and easy-to-use technology. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations from NHTSA, and four stars for rollover protection. It also earns the IIHS top score of good in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

One caveat is that some rivals offer more standard safety features and driver assists, so you may need to step up to a better-equipped trim or option package to match them.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a more modern cabin look with the larger 11-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,109 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,503 CAD average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with stylish design, easy-to-use technology, and strong value for money.

The bottom line: If you want the more polished Trailblazer with the updated cabin presentation and current-year pricing softness, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains the more budget-friendly route and still delivers the Trailblazer’s core strengths.
