Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 359 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns 4/5 from owners and 6.8/10 from experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out for stylish design, a spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology, and it is positioned as a practical small SUV that still feels polished. The main trade-off is performance: the base engine is underwhelming, and acceleration is fairly pedestrian.

That makes it a stronger fit if you value comfort, usability, and space more than quick acceleration. The market also shows 29.8% of listings as good or great deals, which is a healthy sign for shoppers.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a practical, well-rounded small SUV that covers the basics well, and its expert evaluation points to a vehicle that does its core jobs without major drama. Its powertrain is described as adequate rather than exciting, but the overall package is built around everyday usability, efficiency, and comfort.

The available 1.3-litre turbo engine is the better choice if you want a more confident driving experience, and the model’s straightforward operation should help keep ownership stress low. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is simply choosing the base setup and ending up with a vehicle that feels sluggish in daily driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling refresh and larger 11-inch touchscreen help it feel more modern, but the base setup still uses harder interior plastics. Higher trims add more appealing touches, and the available fabric inserts in the door panels make the cabin feel less plain.
• Powertrain: The base turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder makes 137 hp and is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The available turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder makes 155 hp, uses a nine-speed automatic, and is the better pick if you want stronger everyday response.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, while adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and satellite radio on all trim levels. There is no native navigation system, so you’ll rely on your phone for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 L/100 km on the highway, and 7.8 L/100 km combined. The upgraded turbo engine with AWD is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 L/100 km highway, and 7.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Trailblazer’s core strengths without the extra cost of the upgraded powertrain or more elaborate trim content. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and are comfortable keeping things simple.
• LT: This is the best-value choice because the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine only adds a small amount to the price, and it is the upgrade most shoppers should want. If you want the Trailblazer to feel more capable in daily driving, this is the trim to target.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful engine and all-wheel drive, and it is the one used for the expert test vehicle. It suits you if you want a more rugged-leaning setup and the added traction of AWD.
• RS: This is the top Trailblazer model and shares the higher-priced AWD setup. Choose it if you want the most upscale or sporty-feeling version of the lineup.

All Trailblazers include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 359 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,093 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,182 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,463 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may not see the same pricing strength unless market conditions improve.

The good news is that the Trailblazer’s practical strengths and broad appeal should help it remain relevant in the used market. A well-kept example with the better-equipped trim and desirable features should be easier to position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer was awarded five-out-of-five stars in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations, as well as four stars for rollover protection, and the IIHS gave it its highest score of "good" in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

One caveat is that you do get more standard safety features and driver assists with some rivals, so you may need to step up or add packages to match the class leaders.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines a refreshed look, a larger standard 11-inch touchscreen, and strong everyday usability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,214 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,182 CAD average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with stylish design and strong value for money.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the more current version with the stronger tech presentation and better market context. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter path because it delivers much of the same practical appeal for less.
