CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Chevrolet Blazer
Summary
With 134 currently listed for sale and an average price of $37,107 CAD, 27.6% of 2024 Chevrolet Blazer listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer stands out as a stylish, well-packaged midsize SUV that leans into sporty design rather than rugged heritage. Chevrolet revived the Blazer name for a five-passenger unibody vehicle, and its shape and attitude are a clear break from the classic models. It also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto throughout the lineup and model years, which helps give it broad everyday appeal. The standard equipment list is strong, with dual-zone climate controls, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, OnStar, a Wi-Fi hotspot, up to six USB ports, a rear camera, Chevy Safety Assist, and push-button start.
For buyers, the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer offers a mix of comfort, technology, and available equipment that can make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. Upper trims add features such as heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic moonroof, wireless charging, a power liftgate, blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist. The available 308 hp 3.6-litre V6 and all-wheel drive give it more flexibility, while the 2024 model year still benefits from the 2023 mid-cycle refresh, which brought a new grille, headlights, taillamps, wheel designs, and a larger standard 10.25-inch infotainment screen.
There are trade-offs, though. The Blazer’s seats are described as uncomfortable, visibility is poor, and value for money is also listed as a weakness. Even so, for shoppers who want a midsize SUV with distinctive styling, a solid feature set, and a modern infotainment and connectivity package, the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer has a clear identity.

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $37,165 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $35,496 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $42,034 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $42,026 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −11.57% |

There are 134 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you decide.
Is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It is a stylish, well-packaged midsize SUV that focuses on sporty design, everyday usability, and a strong standard equipment list. You also get broad appeal from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across the lineup, plus comfort and technology features that can make it feel more upscale than its price suggests. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer’s appeal comes from its modern packaging, broad connectivity, and available equipment rather than rugged simplicity. For used buyers, that means your long-term ownership risk is more about finding a well-maintained example with the features you want than worrying about a lack of everyday usability.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Blazer?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rushing.
- Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 134 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.57% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $35,496 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?
The current average of $37,165 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,026 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. The Blazer’s distinctive styling and strong equipment list should help it remain appealing to shoppers who want a sporty midsize SUV with modern tech. If demand stays steady, that can support resale performance even as the broader market softens.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
