Yes — the 2024 Cadillac Escalade earns a 5/5 user rating, and its appeal centres on technology, space, and presence. It is a full-size luxury SUV with a longer body, an available long-wheelbase ESV version, and a cabin dominated by a 38-inch curved OLED display. You also get a broad standard equipment list, including heated seats, wireless phone charging, a 19-speaker sound system, and a strong set of driver assistance features. The 2024 Cadillac Escalade’s appeal is rooted in its substantial redesign, roomy second and third rows, and a strong standard equipment list. It also uses a proven 6.2-litre V8 and 10-speed automatic, which should help reassure used buyers looking for a familiar mechanical setup. The main long-term ownership risk is that a large, luxury-focused SUV can be costly to run and maintain over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 99 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $106,453 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $106,837 CAD sits slightly below last year's $122,166 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Escalade has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand in the near term. For a future seller, the key question is whether the market stabilises after this softer pricing period. If it does, well-kept examples may benefit from the Escalade’s strong name recognition and luxury appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $95,494 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $106,837 CAD average.
• It offers a proven formula with strong utility and a commanding presence.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $142,138 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $106,837 CAD average.
• It adds a refresh with styling changes and a redesigned dashboard display.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing and strong satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is the better price-sensitive alternative.
