Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this full-size luxury SUV. The 2024 Cadillac Escalade is positioned as a spacious, technology-forward model with a long-wheelbase ESV version, a roomy second and third row, and a cabin centred on a 38-inch curved OLED display. It also brings a broad standard equipment list, including heated seats, wireless phone charging, a 19-speaker sound system, and a full suite of driver assistance features. With 25.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Cadillac Escalade is described as a major step forward for the model, with a new ladder-frame construction and independent rear suspension that improve interior space. It also carries over a proven 6.2-litre V8 and 10-speed automatic transmission, which supports confidence in familiar mechanical hardware. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about novelty and more about the usual luxury-SUV trade-offs, especially higher running costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 101 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $106,437 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $106,970 CAD sits slightly below last year's $121,959 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more selectively now, but it also means future resale values may face some pressure if the market stays well supplied. Even so, the Escalade's strong equipment list and distinctive presence should help it remain appealing to luxury-SUV shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $95,545 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $106,970 CAD average.
• It offers a proven formula with strong technology and plenty of cargo space.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $141,963 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $106,970 CAD average.
• It adds a refresh with styling changes and a redesigned dashboard display.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced mix of price, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer refresh and are comfortable paying more.
