How much does the 2024 Buick Envista cost?

Prices have softened 9.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Buick Envista earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It fits well if you want a small crossover that feels more upscale than a mainstream alternative, with a stylish design, comfort, and strong value for money. The trade-offs are that AWD is not available and cargo space is limited, so you should weigh those limits against the premium-leaning cabin and entry-level crossover mission.

Only 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market has some attractive options but still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Envista is positioned as a sensible, value-focused crossover, and its expert evaluation points to a refined powertrain and a comfortable, quiet ride. Its 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder and six-speed automatic are described as smoother than the specs suggest, and the suspension tuning is aimed at reducing road noise and improving comfort.

It also comes with a three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is less about outright durability and more about whether the vehicle’s compact size and feature set match your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envista?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Preferred is the base model, while the Sport Touring adds sporty styling touches and the Avenir brings the most premium look and feel. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about the richer exterior treatment and upgraded cabin details.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive only. It makes 137 horsepower and is described as more refined than the specs suggest, with enough urgency for highway merges.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. In Canada, adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist are also standard.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and Wi-Fi connectivity. A head-up display is not available.
• Fuel efficiency: It is rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, with 8.4 L/100 km in the city and 7.4 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2024 Buick Envista trim should I buy?

The 2024 Buick Envista is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Envista’s core appeal at the lowest entry point. You still get the standard 11-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and the full safety suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim if you want the Envista’s style-forward personality without jumping all the way to the top model. It adds sporty styling touches and gives you a more distinctive look while staying close to the model’s value proposition.
• Avenir: Choose this if you want the most premium version of the Envista, with bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, and leather seats. It is the trim that best matches the vehicle’s upscale mission.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envista?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 194 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,815 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envista's resale value?

The current average of $25,815 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,646 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays competitive. The Envista’s value story is still supported by its upscale positioning, strong equipment list, and broad appeal as a small crossover with a premium feel. If demand remains steady, that combination should help it hold interest better than a more ordinary entry-level vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Envista with strong value, good equipment, and a premium-leaning personality, the 2024 is the one to target.
