Is the 2024 BMW M4 a good car?

That kind of reception, paired with 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, gives you a solid mix of appeal and market opportunity.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a high-performance car, though condition and maintenance history still matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting endless inventory.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 43 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $94,434 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M4's resale value?

The current average of $94,434 CAD sits slightly below last year's $108,699 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means a future seller may face a lower starting point than owners did a year ago. If demand stays steady, the M4’s performance reputation should help support values, especially for well-kept examples. Strong condition and desirable equipment will matter more when the market is this selective.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $96,635 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $94,434 CAD average.
• It adds a rare CSL variant.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $110,040 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $94,434 CAD average.
• It adds a refresh, more power, and updated infotainment.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year price advantage and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 can still make sense, but you’ll want to pay close attention to condition and equipment.
