Yes — the 2024 BMW 3 Series earns a 5/5 user rating, and it backs that up with a blend of performance, handling, and luxury that defines the model. It is also one of the more accessible ways into BMW’s driver-focused formula, with precise handling, confidence-inspiring braking, and a premium cabin that stays businesslike rather than flashy. For you, that means a compact luxury sedan that works well if you want everyday usability with a strong driving character. BMW positions this model as a polished, versatile luxury sedan, and the 2024 version keeps that formula intact with standard all-wheel drive in Canada and a modernised cabin. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Inventory: There are 131 listings available.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $45,684 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,422 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan with strong driving dynamics and premium feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,341 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,684 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed cockpit and quieter ride.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $55,199 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,684 CAD average.
• It adds refinements and keeps the driving experience engaging.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market value, the 2024 is the primary pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to spend more for newer refinements.
